Came once a couple weeks ago and a friend and I were so impressed with the service. Byron and the manager are gems and they bring a true light to this place, so much so that we decided to come again for brunch and got the same experience so consistency appears to be key. We look forward to coming back! If you are looking for a nice reset before the Sunday scaries hit, this is the place to do it. Thank you for having us!

Avli is a gem in this city, a place you can go to for any occasion - a birthday, a date, a family dinner, patio brunch, or happy hour. The food is delicious and consistent, the service is amazing, the atmosphere is inviting with a simple elegance that makes you feel comfortable... Highly recommend.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but the food quality is not as great as it used to be. The portions used to be larger, the lamb chops were a bit tough, and some of our favorite items (seafood orzo, tiramisu) were no longer on the menu.

Unfortunately, we were so disappointed. There isn’t much in the way of atmosphere inside. The patio looked nicer. The service was okay except they cleared the table, unexpectedly taking away a sauce we wanted. The food was okay. There are much better Greek food options in Chicago.

Our experience was disappointing. The restaurant lacks ambiance. However, the outdoor patio looked nice. The service was okay but they cleared our table and removed a sauce we had wanted without asking. The food was just okay which is why we wanted the sauce. There are other Greek food restaurants in Chicago which are much better.
