We were excited to visit this restaurant as we frequent this neighborhood often and all love Greek food. We had Sunday reservations for 10:30a and arrived 3-5 minutes early. The door was unlocked and we walked in. We quickly saw we were the first ones there. Upon entering, we told the hostess we had 10:30am reservations. Rather than enthusiastically greeting us, she grumbled, "you're early" with a frown and begrudgingly sat us at a table. While our server was excellent and the food was very good, the (lack of) warm greeting, left us with an unwelcome feeling and unfortunately tainted our overall experience.
Fun cocktails and yummy fig salad w candied nuts and cheese. We tried the specials which were good.
I love Avli so much, the food is amazing and the staff is so kind and welcoming. I come here every other week and love it!
Everything was great! Good portion, delicious flavor and good value for restaurant week! Besides it is our local neighborhood restaurant that we love to patronize!
One of our party had dietary restrictions and our waiter was very helpful in making sure her foods came with minimal seasoning and no hidden ingredients.
For someone that's gluten free and dairy free avli is the best pick for restaurant week. Everything was the delicious and the portions where very large, definitely could not finish my food, left stuffed! Plus the place feels so homey, and everything came out quick. I love Avli!!
The food was so good! It was perfect portions for restaurant week and the timing between dishes for it being so busy was perfect! It was really really loud inside though and we could hear the table's next to us entire conversation as if we were at the same table, and it was only 2 people. We wound up just eating in silence because we were not going to yell just so we could hear each other. It was also really dark in our area toward the front of the restaurant, but the back room seemed pretty lit.
Really lovely vibe in this restaurant. It's nestled in a neighborhood in Lakeview. Food was yummy and I actually like the less than insane number of options on the menu. It's curated and delicious. Highly recommend and we will be returning!
Wonderful appetizers and drinks, and very solid entrees as well! Need to get the spreads and the gyros
The food was so delicious and light, very flavorful and exactly what we wanted! Very gluten friendly, and can choose lighter options to be more healthy

We love Avili Lincoln Park not only because of the food but because of the outstanding service of our favorite waiter Rene! He is a joy!
What an amazing restaurant. The food and Olivia, our server, were both outstanding. We will definitely be back and will tell anyone that will listen about Avli.
Delicious group dinner at Avli! They never disappoint. Everyone enjoyed the spreads, fries, and entrees. Will be back!!! The happy B-day Baklava was a nice touch.
Came once a couple weeks ago and a friend and I were so impressed with the service. Byron and the manager are gems and they bring a true light to this place, so much so that we decided to come again for brunch and got the same experience so consistency appears to be key. We look forward to coming back! If you are looking for a nice reset before the Sunday scaries hit, this is the place to do it. Thank you for having us!
Avli is a gem in this city, a place you can go to for any occasion - a birthday, a date, a family dinner, patio brunch, or happy hour. The food is delicious and consistent, the service is amazing, the atmosphere is inviting with a simple elegance that makes you feel comfortable... Highly recommend.
