They don't disclose that it's "take out only" until you get there and turned away at the door. Had to place my order over the phone, walk my credit card back to the door and wait for my food back in the car. My falafel was mediocre, the hummus was ok for the tiny amount and the side salad was just sad looking. My boyfriend said his chicken shawarma was dry and not appetizing.

It is only for pick up, and they do not specify this in their schedule, they should put it so as not to waste time traveling to the place.

Baba Pita has great chicken dishes, but the beef shawarma is the best I've ever eaten. The owner really knows how to prepare beef. I also recommend the beef kefta. Their freshly made drinks are excellent as well.

Me and my co-workers order lunch from here a lot. Never have been disappointed. Some of the best middle eastern food in Chicago. Definitely recommend anything with chicken shawarma and the pita chips.

After being told it would take 15 minutes I waited 25 just to be told another 10 or so. When you have to get back to work you can't always just wait around more than twice as long as quoted. So today I get to go without lunch at all, thanks baba pita

I had the Meat Combo Plate and the Malaysian Coffee. The service was quick and the staff is very nice. The coffee was great, however the food could've been a little bit more seasoned. They give you a decent amount of food for the price and it's walking distance from me so that's a plus. I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

Amazing -- wish I could give more stars! We paced a short notice catering order here and not only were they accommodating on our request, they even stayed well beyond their closing time to allow us to pick up at our earliest convenience. Not to mention, the food was delicious! Highly recommend; this was our first time at Baba Pita but most certainly won't be the last!
