Baba's Famous Steak & Lemonade

I just had the worst chop steak sandwich that I have ever had in my life. It was so as if it was cooked in a deep fryer instead of on a flat top. The bun was so stale and hard. I wasted my lunch break on this. I have learned my lesson with Baba's restaurants. Third time bad food at a Baba's restaurant

I love this place the cashiers a lil rough but look at the area they in food always fresh just don’t like they don’t accept food orders

If you want to have the bubble guts eat at this restaurant the place nasty the food nasty they just cover everything with mild sauce and salt going to get high blood pressure and diabetes eating at this place

I called to inform staff there was a Band aid in my food and the girl who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional… She told me no one there is wearing a band-aid and I informed her “I’m sure because it’s in my food” she proceeded to justify by saying they don’t have any band-aids in the restaurant. My initial thought was oh so there’s no first aid at hand if one was needed, then I said maybe cause they have them at home and could have put one on and went to work without wearing gloves. Long story short, I will NEVER eat from here again.

Jerk tacos are absolutely delicious, however, can yall calm down on the spices. Because the last jerk chicken tacos I had were almost unbearable. ? I ate em tho. And the hot dog and fries are good too. The smoothie/iced drinks are ? sooooo good. And if you spend over a certain amount it’s free.

DON’T order off Uber Eats. They never get your order correct. My Italian beef meat was old. I paid extra for onions they forgot those. Gave me crumbs of fries drowned in mild sauce, when I stated it be put on the side. SMH!!!

This was my first time ever trying Baba's.... it was late, they were open. I ordered the steak-Philly w fries. I expected a long wait, do to the people b4 me. .but food was hot and fresh and hit the spot ?.

Please I beg of you do not patronize this establishment! The staff will consistently I repeat consistently screw your order up in every shape form and fashion! This has to be the most incompetent cook/staff in Chicago I will never spend another dime with them under any circumstances and for the food to be as mediocre as it is you would think they would at least get a simple order correct but no don't count on it. If I could give this dump zero stars I would. ??????

This restaurant does not take CALL IN ORDERS Which is extremely inconvenient for the community if people are on their lunch breaks or in a rush they’re unable to place an order over the phone. They have to come inside and the lobby is filthy And it is extremely hot on the inside of the establishment not to mention they make you wait in that hot area for your food.

The service was good but the Italian beef tasted like burnt meat. It wasn't very good at all. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious though.
