My best friend and I are from Florida and we went to dinner here last week because we wanted to branch out of downtown Chicago and try something different. Well -- Bacchanalia is exquisite. It's a cute and cozy authentic Italian restaurant. The service was great and everyone who worked there is lovely. I had the chicken parm with pasta on the side and my best friend had the lasagna. Both dishes were delicious, especially the lasagna. Literally melts in your mouth. If you have are in Little Italy in Chicago, you need to check this place out. Definitely going back!!

Old school Italian restaurant which is still serving great food. Everything was really good and we enjoyed our dinner. The chicken Parmesan was excellent. Great size portion. The Chianti was good and a generous pour. You should try it if you are in the area or make a special trip. It is worth it.

I went to Bacchanalia last week for a nice Italian dinner, it turned out not to be so nice. I have had dinner their several times in the past 3 yrs. After having trouble finding parking, I went in and was greeter warmly, bar was full. Waitress came within a minute or 2. With menu. I ordered the eggplant Parmigiano, an asked the Waitress if soup came with it, she said not anymore! After I ordered she came back and said she would give me the soup anyway! Which was very nice of her! When my order came, plate was full of pasta, and as I devoured the pasta I found their was very little eggplant and what was on plate was very dark, more breading then eggplant! Oh buy the way the marinara sauce was very good. I keep eating thinking I would find the eggplant in all this pasta, but I never did, I was very disappointed! I should have mentioned it to Waitress, but with all the noise I didn't. I will not go back but will try one of the other restaurants on Oakley blvd.

My mother and I had an excellent dinner here last weekend. We were greeted by a very lovely lady at the bar who made us feel immediately welcome. Service was prompt and friendly and the food... Let's just say there were no leftovers. It was sooo good! We loved that we didn't feel rushed at all, and I saw everyone there was taking their time and really enjoying the night. The bathrooms were clean and the space very well-kept. We didn't have a reservation but they are accepted if you call in advance. It was really an experience and I'll definitely be back!

What a beautiful gem. Went here with my fiance for our anniversary, and we left so satisfied and feeling like we just visited a family member's home for dinner. Felt so comfortable and taken care of. We even got a cannoli for our anniversary! Very flavorful and a perfect way to end the night. We were told that the lasagna was their grandmother's recipe and wow! It was to die for. So so good. Everything was fresh and made with love. Kristen (sorry if I mispelled) was a fantastic waitress. Never had such good service like this. She was so kind and the whole environment felt so welcoming. If you come here, you won't regret it!!
Someone’s lying here in the reviews, way over priced for something minimal. Paid about $69 for two plates and wasn’t really as tasteful but wasteful. I felt bad coming here, dried our pockets out. Drive not worth it.

With a great portion size and the right crisp on the cheese.Took a star off because they over cooked the garlic bread. Whichwas ordered fresh because it is not available via their website.I didn’t eat in so no comment on the atmosphere.
