After calling around a few places, bake Chicago was the most helpful, friendliest, and with short notice was able to make our gender reveal cake by the weekend! Not only did they make an absolutely beautiful cake, it was so delicious! So happy , thank you again bake Chicago! Definitely found our new bakery for future occasions

We ordered treats for my hubby’s birthday and everyone loved the cupcakes. Seriously delish- and the icing isn’t too sweet. Also, a couple of items were left out of our order and they offered to drive them over to us. They really went above and beyond. Definitely one of our fave bakeries from now on.

Ordered a Nutella malt cake for my wife’s birthday and it was fantastic! Perfectly balanced flavor with just enough sweetness. The nutty, toasty notes of the malt were a great, subtle touch.
So many bakeries we’ve ordered from in the past make their cakes way too sweet for our taste. Bake set itself apart from the rest for us and really nailed it! Also, ordering online is quite convenient. We’ll definitely be back!

I said three stars cause of course I tested out cakes and referred them to several people for birthday cakes but they do not accept EBT so I guess a broad number of Chicago citizens will not be able to purchase from them.

We were drawn in by the homemade popsicles sign and unprepared to be totally charmed by this lovely spot! Hilarious cards, beautiful homemade and second-hand homegoods, and delicious pastries kept us here long after our popsicles were gone (and they were delicious!)
