I went to this bakery and it was closed. Everything was boxed up. I think it is closed permanently.

Today 9/2/24 I bought the caramel cake from Pete’s Produce on 87th and Loomis it had a Best Buy date of 9/12/24. The cake looked absolutely amazing but the taste didn’t match the appearance. It was extremely dry on the inside, I mean no type of bounce back on the cake , no moisture at all. You can taste granulated sugar in the caramel, it’s extremely sweet but the caramel wasn’t nasty . Now I will say I haven’t tried the cake directly from the bakery so it may be worth trying to see if it’s moist vs Pete’s because I don’t know how Pete’s store the cakes. I only tried the cake because of the reviews. I’ll update the reviews after I try directly from the bakery.

I have been craving banana pudding and I happened to catch some of their last batch. OMG I had to stop eating so fast ? this has to be the best banana pudding I have had in a VERY long time. The actual pudding itself has so much flavor, the vanilla wafers and fresh bananas are just added bonuses. Craving Satisfied!
Customer Service: They are family owned and operated and you can taste the passion and love in all the treats.
You have to place your order and schedule pickup. They pleasantly greeted me with my order ?

They made my husband the best gluten free double chocolate cake, AMAZING. It was so light and moist, you would never know it’s GF. I also had some cookies that melted in my mouth. Go out and get yourself some goodies from this bakery today.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available and so good!

The absolute best cakes!! The caramel cake is by far my favorite! The ribs are delicious as well! Don’t walk, run to the Beverly Farmers Market to purchase your treats! Great selection of local vendors! Every Sunday 8am-1pm :-)

Delicious food made with love!Generous portions of wings that are easy to eat and delectable Bundt cakes that you cannot get anywhere else in the city. Signature caramel is fabulous but try the coconut too- top notch flavor!Owners are so sweet, they probably don’t even need to use sugar ???? but mmm I’m glad they do!These Sisters are doing it right!

We had the Bourbon flavor & Sweet-Heat Wings…delicious! And the ribs were melt in your mouth goodness! Can also highly recommend the caramel cake & lunchroom butter cookies! Granny and Debbie are welcoming & make you feel like family! We will definitely be ordering again!

Baker Sisters have the best caramel cake and rum cake that I ever had in my life! You get good customer service, great prices and excellent food all in one spot. The sweet heat wings are the absolute best! I am there on a weekly basis hands down. My entire family fight over who had the last wing or last piece of cake. I must add, the ribs are meaty and the sauce is great. Words can not express how grateful I am that they are near my home because I would be a traveling sister for real😂5 stars all day long!

We purchased one of their cakes at FairPlay Grocery. It was delicious. We connected with the Baker Sisters at their Bakery. We ordered a caramel birthday sheet cake. Not only was the presentation beautiful but the cake was absolutely delicious. Everyone raved about the cake and asked to take some home. We were able to accommodate their requests and still had cake to take home. We’ve also had the Jerk wings and the butter cookies. They too, were very delicious. This is our go to Bakery. We highly recommend them.

A hidden gem! Best cakes I've ever had!

I give kudos to this business for operating in uncertain financial times. However as a 20-year baker, I am disappointed with a caramel cake I purchased at Fairplay Foods in Chicago. The cake is headachy sweet and flavorless except for a taste of lots of sugar and imitation vanilla.Bad aftertaste. The caramel is an unappetizing crystalized graininess instead of a smoothness.
