Today, I was near the Baker Square on Harlem in Chicago and decided to check to see if they have Banana Cream which they did. I had asked if the pie was fresh being two previous times the bananas were kind of brownish, I was told yes the pie was fresh. To my surprise I should have not trusted the answer that it was fresh. First off in cutting two slices there was maybe two small slices of bananas and the cream part was hard and tasted weird. This will be the last time that I will be visiting a Bakers Square establishment. I hate to say this, but needs to be said, ask for a sample before you buy.

Good morning breakfast at Bakers square!
I love the eggs Benedict at Bakers Square.
2 nice pieces of ham steak on top of the English muffin and the soft boiled egg topped with hollandaise sauce. With a side of crispy hashbrowns. Now that’s the way to start your day off. Five stars oh and don’t forget their coffee.

Went to get slices of pie to go. If we ate there, I would have asked for a refund. You can tell the pie was sitting in the refrigerator for a while. If had a taste of being uncovered in a refrigerator. I wanted to enjoy the pie but it was not worth the trip or the $6 per slice. Not FRESH like it used to be.

We went for brunch on Father’s Day. The coffee was delicious but we waited 35 minutes for eggs and sausages. My husband’s eggs were undercooked and watery, his sausage patties were pink in the middle, my eggs were slightly watery, my turkey sausage was stringy and they forgot my husband’s fruit. There were a couple flies buzzing around and the service was sub par. It was the first and last time we visit this location.
