Had a great experience at Bambu!
Bambu in Chicago is such a gem. Every time I stop by, the drinks are fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. Their chè is perfectly balanced — not too sweet, full of texture, and always refreshing. The ingredients taste clean and high‑quality, and you can tell everything is prepared thoughtfully.
The staff is warm, patient, and welcoming. They take their time to explain the menu if you’re new, and they always get the order just right. The shop itself is bright, clean, and cozy — a great place to grab a treat and relax for a moment.
Whether you’re craving a classic Vietnamese dessert drink, a fruit tea, or something fun and unique, Bambu never disappoints. This is easily a 5‑star spot and one of my favorite places in the city for a refreshing pick‑me‑up.
Highly recommended.

Sugar can so sweet but its taste like sugar and water not like sugar can at all
Got served kidney beans and white beans in place of red beans and mung beans. It's like if I went to get a matcha and got served Lipton's green tea.

Service is fast and love the option that we can choose our sugar and ice level and the options to add more toppings.

I ordered a blended matcha, and my drink had a color resembling blended old peas with chunks of ice in it. It tasted horrible and made me nauseous after just a third of it, so I ended up throwing it away. The place was busy, and the customer service was not great, but they still asked me to add a tip for my $10 drink. I definitely won’t be coming back.

Came here and loved the mango halo halo. The picture shows three scoops of mango ice cream but it only came with barely one. It was delicious though. It got very busy right after we ordered. Definitely coming back.

If you're craving something refreshing, vibrant, and a little out of the ordinary, Bambu in Chicago is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of Uptown, this cozy spot offers a wide variety of Vietnamese-inspired drinks and desserts, with a focus on chè—a layered, customizable treat made with coconut milk, jellies, beans, and fruit.
The menu is impressively diverse, with over 80 options ranging from fruit smoothies and milk teas to bold coffee blends and signature dessert drinks. I tried the Coconut Combo and Taro Lover, and both were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, which I appreciated. You can adjust sugar levels and swap ingredients to suit your taste, which makes the experience feel personal and fun.
The shop itself is clean and modern, with a relaxed vibe and friendly staff who are happy to walk you through the menu if you're new to Vietnamese desserts. Service was quick, and the drinks were beautifully presented.
Whether you're stopping by for a midday treat or looking for something unique to share with friends, Bambu delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back to try more combinations—and maybe even bring a few curious friends and my whole family members along.

It's good bubble tea but expensive one. Though I feel all the bubble tea places are expensive.
