Bang Bang knocks it out of the park every time. Their pie is great but their biscuits are even better. Stop in within an hour of closing and the crowd really thins.

Every thing was amazing. But I have to talk about the the chocolate pecan pie. The pie’s flavors were so balanced and precise that it became an argument for the value of small, immediate experiences. We often think fulfillment must come from major achievements or profound discoveries, yet this dessert demonstrated that contentment can originate from something as ordinary as food prepared with intention. The heart is full.

Biscuits and pie were both 10/10. Cute restaurant with large, pleasant patio.

Absolutely hands down best pie I’ve ever had. We ordered a very specific pie that is only in season once a year for a few weeks and Shannon and her whole team went out of their way to get this pie done for me. It had a very sentimental meaning to it and the team really went so far above and beyond to make sure they were able to get this pie done. I will forever be coming back to get any future pie with them. It was absolutely delicious beyond expectations.

We wanted to visit this place after we watch somebody feed Phil Chicago episode. Finally, we went there last Sunday and the didn’t disappoint. Everything what we ordered was made very well and tasted Devine. The key lime pie, biscuit with gravy, chicken pot pie and berry pie too good.

When I think about our trip to Chicago, the first thing that comes to mind, is Bang Bang Pies. I have never been in awe of such a place. The staff was so kind and patient. We had the most DELICIOUS pie and breakfasts I can ever recall. I can’t remember what my husband got because I am still drooling over the BLT with those earth shattering tomatoes that tasted like heaven. The biscuits were top notch and melted like butter in your mouth. And the pie! Oh my god that pie. It was the plum blackberry pie that I just know, I’ll never be able to recreate that as much as I would love to. Being from south Louisiana and having such amazing food up north was so unexpected and a wonderful surprise for us. Once we financially recover from all the money we spent while on our honeymoon (one of the reasons we were in Chicago) I’m ordering every single item online that I possibly can because I need to make sure that I can enjoy this place from home.
