Bang Bang has been a neighborhood favorite of mine for years! Tastes like it's made with love. The biscuits, the pies, the sides, you can't go wrong! I usually get a scratch biscuit with sweet, a side salad or side of candied bacon, and a slice of pie to go :) Delicious! Great patio space for the summer!

Not sure if the staff was trying to mess with me or what. So we order brunch, it’s like 15 minutes delayed, but whatever. Sausage on my wife’s order was raw, and half my bacon was missing… until we found it underneath my wife’s sausage, gravy and biscuits. So we call and get a refund and remake. Being pretty turned off by sausage at this point my wife asks for the grits with an egg and hot sauce on it. They are accommodating to this. When I bring the order back home to my wife she takes one bite and laugh. There is a HAIR in her fried egg. So we call back again to get a refund. Staff was helpful, but what in the world? Keep an eye out on your orders from this place. They cut corners on hygiene and food safety!

1st time there we just went for the pie. Delicious pies! Neat place to grab a dessert and coffee, and sit outside. Key Lime is the real deal??.

I was pleasantly surprised. I had a 20-minute wait to order and still had a great experience. Unique and cozy place. What stood out was how hearty and warming all the food was - this place is absolutely perfect for a crisp fall day. The patio feels unique in Chicago, because it has more of a backyard feel - wood chips, greenery, and picnic tables. I’ve never been somewhere quite like this in Chicago!

I just stopped in for a takeout slice of the Cranberry Raspberry Chiffon. OMG was it divine. Also, the aroma coming from the dining area made me hungry. All the food looks terrific.

I went back... AND IT WAS still BANGNIN'! I was craving something more savory this time around so I opted for the sausage biscuits sandwich situation. It was a little busy but the service was still warm and inviting. My order was brought to me while sitting on their back patio. The biscuit was perfect paired with the sage sausage and jam. Truly a flavorful meal bite for bite and the portion kept me full all day. Great quality food and service.

Used to be a lot better. I used to come a lot, but as they've become more popular the flavour isn't there. Also the prices are different from what is on their menu board. Menu board says 10 for tomato pot pie, but they charge you 12. I made a comment about ir, but they either didn't hear me or chose to ignore me.Whenever I get a craving for grits I stop by. However they tend to always be too salty. And if you get them past morning time they tend to be cold.I love the tomato pot pie but the pastry crust is always undercooked. Some parts raw even. If you get the pot pie just get it to-go and not have them heat it up. Stick it in an airfryer or oven so you can ensure the pastry crust is cooked through.Pies are decent and every now and then I'll make a trip out but it's definitely not as good as it used to be.

This place is usually quite busy but we got here just before the rush and were able to grab a seat inside. It's quite small with limited seating especially in the winter, in the summer I believe they have a small patio. I got the shrimp po boy biscuit, I do wish there was a little more sauce as biscuits can tend to be a little dry but the flavors aside from that went together really well. The fries were delish and their hot sauce really made the meal.

Stopped in with my husband to grab food to go, ended up grabbing a key lime pie, chocolate malt pie, tomato pot pie, and chicken pot pie and... oh my goodness. The chicken pot pie is the best I have ever had (I am a repeat customer for that specifically). Everything was so good, and I am not a huge chocolate person. Highly recommend! So happy there is this location in Logan Square. Only downside is you might be uncomfortably full the rest of the day (speaking from personal experience) because you have to eat every last bite. Service was super quick (you order at the counter), and this location is very small and quaint.

the best chicken pot pie I ever had. I wish they would add GF options for friends, but I'll take what I can get :)

I now understand the hype about this place after tasting their vegetarian Pot Pie! It was so flavorful, and the crust is cooked to perfection. The presentation is also very lovely and the coffee is great. Pick-up was nice and easy. The staff was very nice and friendly. It's understandable that they say to order first before sitting down as indoor seating is limited. I would say Pot Pie is good for one person as they are small but filling!Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian Pot Pie that has tomatoes, onions, cheese, etc. They also offer oat milk for coffee!
