I cannot possibly write a review that would adequately capture the stunning sandwich and marvelous vibe. Le and Andy were incredibly friendly, professional, efficient, and informative.
I arrived before my companion and they spent the 30 minutes I was waiting engaging in pleasant and interesting conversation, as well as continually offering various drinks, appetizers, and even inviting me to partake in a drink with the table next to mine. Such lovely enthusiasm.
The sandwich was perfect by every metric. Fresh pillowy and flaky bread, zippy and crunchy crispity peppers, flavorful meat, monchy veggies, aromatic herbs. Lord have mercy. Absolutely outrageously delicious and satisfying. The Viet ice coffee was spot-on as well.
I have lived in Hanoi, and have been hunting and gobbling Banh Mi for 30 years... And I gotta say: this is truly the best Banh Mi I have ever had. The craziest part is that's it's not even close.

Absolutely love this spot ! Very friendly fast service.The place feels so homey, especially bc the cook/owner is present to ensure everything is enjoyed and shares engaging conversations. Food is hot fresh, delicious & great priced. I highly recommend :) If you like your pho spicy , ask for the pickled ghost peppers.

What’s not to like? Delicious food and extremely lovely and friendly people. Only in California Ive had as good banh mi as here. They’re homemade cookies are the best too. Truly a gem in the neighborhood.

Loved this place when it first opened but the consistency is just not there anymore. The last three times we have been in we were left disappointed in the bahn mi and the summer rolls. Maybe you will have better luck though. We have gotten some great food from here in the last.
