HUGE shoutout to Lionell and the team at Bar 22! I’ve been coming here from STL for 4 years, but they went above and beyond on 12/13/25. When our original venue caught fire right as my sorority (OMEGA XI DELTA SORORITY, INC.) arrived for our New Member Presentation, Bar 22 stepped in and saved the day. They accommodated 70 people on the fly and made sure our showcase was a success. The atmosphere was 10/10, the staff was so patient, and the DJ was incredible at adapting to our needs. Food and drinks were top-tier as usual. Thank you for turning a potential disaster into an amazing night! Highly recommend for brunch, drinks, or your next big event.

My friends and I came here for our birthday. & I’m SO disappointed. . First of all , security made a rule about no hats in the building , but we walk in and people have on hats at the bar . His excuse was “they were here before 10” . . If that’s a RULE Enforce it for the whole club ! The whole night ! . . We get our drinks, the liquor is disgusting . Like they use fake liquor or something then they tell us, “we can’t do a tab” so you telling me I have to keep giving you my card ALL NIGHT if I want to keep ordering drinks . ? The DJ was Horrible . The food , NOT the best at all . I asked for a manager ; she was ok and helped as much as she could but I would not recommend this place for a good night out.

Bought tickets for a RnB/Trap party (I’m pretty sure it was free entry without a ticket *money grab*). They didn’t provide any dress code restrictions prior. We get there and said they didn’t allow hats after taking an uber from our hotel to get there. When advising that we don’t have a car to put the hat in, they didn’t care. Only to get into the bar and there’s a man at the bar with a hat on. Not to mention the DJ was TRASH! There wasn’t a flow to his set at all, just random songs. 0/10 do NOT recommend…unless you are in to weak ish.

Was there on Saturday 3/1/25 for a silent party with my wife and one of her friends. The bouncer was hitting on my wife and when I let him know that she was in fact my spouse he continue to be a creep and be disrespectful even when we were leaving. The DJs for the silent party were garbage. They only played the same five songs, and one of the DJs kept trying to hit on one of the girls working at the bar and being a creep over the music. This was the first and the last time I’ll ever go there.
I enjoyed this place. The shrimp tacos were amazing and our Bartender definitely made the drinks just how I like them, strong! The DJ was on point with the music and it’s plenty of space to just dance. FYI: If you’re driving, park on 23rd and Michigan so you won’t get ticketed or towed.
