Really nice & fancy tapas bar in Chicago! They made space for us at the bar because didn't have room in the main dining room and it only made our experience better! The staff gave us great advice we had different types of tapas all were original, good and flavorful! Bringing a bit of Spain to the windy City The vibe is amazing and so is the sangria ... great experience there and absolutely will recommend the place to anyone visiting Chicago and wanting to add a nice fancy note at their trip!

Unfortunately we didnt have the chance to try it. I was given a wait time of 45 minutes. After an hour we checked on an estimate of wait time remaining and she said 10 min. While I understand that wait time varies, honesty is the best policy instead of having us wait around in the cold. They called us an hour and a half later

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and very friendly employees. Highly recommend the White Sangria pitcher, garlic shrimp, shishito peppers.

Best hot toddy I've ever had... also best mushrooms, and everything else was amazing. This place really knows its garlic butter... not that should be a selling point, but I'd go back just for that alone.

Came here during the Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant Week. We were able to choose if we wanted to dine indoors or outdoors. Due to current Covid-19 pandemic, we thought it would be safer to dine outdoors and it was a pretty nice but windy day when we went on October 7, 2020. Staff was very friendly when we checked in and we were seated outside. We had Kristina as our waitstaff and she was very friendly and accommodating. There was a special $45 menu for Restaurant Week and it definitely didn't disappoint. The food was phenomenal. From the toasted goat cheese, olives, sausage, cheese and meat tray to the lamb meatballs, cheeseburger, shrimp and fried rice, we really ate well and everything tasted really flavorful and good. The only thing that was disappointing was as night fell, it got quite cool outside. Bar Ramone had these huge heaters but they were never were turned on. I asked a staff member about turning it on but she never came back to tell me yeah or nay. I then asked our waitstaff Kristina and she later let us know that the restaurant didn't have any propane for the heaters. That really would have helped sitting outside in the breezy cold. Across the way was another Lettuce Entertain You restaurant where their patrons were enjoying being toasty with the heaters that restaurant had. Even when we left Bar Ramone, we walked over to that area to feel some heat, LOL! Thanks Bar Ramone for a lovely experience. Looking forward to coming back to experience more yumminess!

If you enjoy unique, yet tasteful, tapas selections then this is the place to go...and bring an appetite. Eight of us enjoyed over two hours of culinary delights from the kitchen (repeating on several of our favorite dishes) and accompanied them with their delicious sangria selections. An overall incredible evening of good eats in a festive, yet covid-safe, environment.

The restaurant did not honor our original reservation because of overbooking from limited Covid seating and a miscommunication. After writing a complaint about the experience, the GM contacted us and invited us back. We dined at the restaurant Oct-9 and the food, wine, ambiance and service were all outstanding. We really enjoyed the montaraz jamon iberico de bellota and ham & cheese combo board. I look forward to dining at Bar Ramone in the future. Thanks again

So good! If the weather is nice opt to sit outside; the two times I went the entire street was closed off for the restaurants and bars in that area and it made for such a fun atmosphere and almost felt like a street festival. For drinks I've tried the guava gin and tonic, and recommend that. The white wines are all on the dry side, if that's your thing. For food I've tried the pan con tomate (tasty but nothing to write home about; I'd skip and save stomach space for other eats), mushrooms (highly recommend), shaved brussels (recommend), modern patatas bravas (soo good definitely get this!), and garlic shrimp (another standout, highly recommend). A great dining experience with awesome food to boot. Highly recommend!

This place was wonderful. The staff was quick, welcoming and gracious. Table and people were placed socially acceptable apart during this pandemic and the staff made sure we knew the rules of the restaurant for masks. The food was amazing, reasonably priced and came out faster than I had expected. Not to mention, the perfect size to share between the 3 of us at our table. The host and our waiter checked on us often and made sure we were well taken care of. Even though we did not have any alcohol tonight, they had an amazing bar that was fully stocked and included many excellent wines. It was an amazing space, would go back and highly recommend to anyone.

Great food, many options and quick service. Always perfect for a girls night out. It's small for sure, but you won't notice once you start eating and drinking the BEST sangria in the Bay.

We love this local restaurant and wine bar. It never disappoints. Great wine, cocktails, and food.

I've been to Bar Ramone numerous time and it's always fantastic. There's a great wine selection, especially Spanish, of course, but there are others as well. The tapas are delicious and always fun to share. Try the marinated goat cheese and patatas bravas! There is a lot of outdoor seating with Clark Street now being closed everyday, so just go! Support this great restaurant.
