This is hands-down my favorite bar in town. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the staff is super friendly, and the drinks are consistently top-notch. Whether you’re looking for a chill night out or a spot to catch up with friends, this place never disappoints. The music, lighting, and overall vibe just make you want to stay all night. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area especially if you love FREE POOL.

Plus i would say a Peach Martini or a Grand Love is a must try!

We came in for a snack after the pride parade and the cheese board and drinks were beautiful. The staff were so accommodating. Everyone working during and after the pride parade deserves a raise!

Picked up one of the Bartenders “Ceik”. Great guy so I know this place would be good to go too. I wish you the best on your Pool tournament.

This was a fun, new place I had never been before. It wasn’t very crowded, so I was able to sit down right away on the couch in front of the fireplace. There was a good wine selection, and also a bunch of cocktails. I got some Prosecco, which was tasty.

I met a group of friends hear around 5pm, so it was very quiet and cozy. Our server/bartender was wonderful. She has a great personality and gave us the right amount of attention as we were catching up with each other. Would definitely return.

This place is such a gem. We used to go to Webster wine bar in Lincoln Park before it closed. We missed the warm, dim lit atmosphere with comfortable seating. Barrel cheese and wine bar is my new place. I need to boast about the cute velvet lounge chairs at the bar and seating tables. Leather couches and pillows to give it warmth and coziness. The dim lit atmosphere makes it a perfect destination for a date nite or a nice evening with friends. Everyone that works there made us feel welcomed. They went above and beyond for us and were so pleasant. I’d go back and just have a glass of Pinot and read a book. 😁Love this place and location is easy to get to. Another great fact is that it stays open longer than any other wine bars I know of. Thanks for bringing a great wine bar to the neighborhood! Cheers! 🍷

The ambience is so lovely and great for a date. I liked the drinks too. However, we had a bizarre experience with the waitress. I am not sure if she was having trouble hearing us, but she did not listen to our requests at every interaction. It was in one ear and out the other. An example: when we sat down, she greeted us and asked if we would be ordering food or just here for drinks, we said yes we would be ordering food but drinks first. She proceeded to take our food menus and plates away, and said if we changed our minds about food she could bring them but but she'd give us time to look at drinks... ?? Confusing because we had just said we would be ordering food just not right away. In another scenario too, we mentioned wanting to order another round of drinks and she seemed to acknowledge it but then walked away? Bizarre. That being said, I would still go back!

Food and drinks were good. The music playlist was driving me crazy! Same songs, over and over. Sweet Caroline 5 times in 1.5 hrs. 😳

Lovely atmosphere on a cold, Tuesday evening. Server was very helpful in recommending a bottle of wine that three women could agree upon! Charcuterie board was a nice snack to enjoy while drinking wine. A great spot in the neighborhood!

Stopped here on a whim. Celebrating a birthday. The bartender was attentive and brought out cake for us! The cocktails were amazing! The music and vibe was great. I will be back!
