Amazing bar, owners and customers! Great bar to just chill, catch the game and to have fun! I’ve been coming for years and never had a problem, you can bring your dogs (friendly) order food and order some great drinks!
I challenge you to find a better neighborhood sports bar in Chicago. Always have Chicago sports on WITH sound, which is rare at a bar for some reason. Really great tap list that’s always rotating. The owners are great. Very personable and welcoming. Must check it out if you’re in the area, or not! Stop by!!!
Barrelman Tavern’s my go‑to hangout in Edgewater. Spent around $40 last Saturday on a 12oz Kolsch and a hearty milk‑stout pour—plus a neat pour of bourbon. Love that they rotate the taps (grabbed a solid Cookie Bird IPA) and the bartenders are real talkers. Brought my pup, watched the Sox game, cozy wood‑paneled spot. BYOF & no kitchen but DoorDash hits fine. Solid vibes, great booze—straight fire.
