I came into Barstool River North with some friends and had a blast! We ordered buckets of high noons and beer and they were very reasonably priced for downtown Chicago! Myself and a few friends ordered burgers, PHENOMENAL!!!!! A couple other people in my group ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and chicken tenders, very great too! The atmosphere was very lively, they have live music every night which makes it easy to get up and dance!! If you’re looking for a great bar in River North, this is your spot!

I was there last Sunday... Left a cash tip. I guess the server didn't find 20% to be enough. So she decided to add an additional 31% or $18.00 to my credit card! I personally don't think any server is worth a 51% tip! On top of that when you call to discuss the situation you can't even get in touch with the bar.. plus their website isn't up and running!! Totally shady, totally ghetto!!
A trash bar with nasty floors and a even worst bouncer. Do better and be better please. You’ll loose service at this rate.

Looking at reviews and photos, I'll let you know right now my experience was more limited to St. Patrick's Day weekend. If you're trying to find a place to go on a regular night, skip my review. If you're looking to go here during a big event, read on.
When we walked in it was shoulder-to-shoulder people that required you to fight to get back to the main bar. The bartenders were extremely fast and efficient so we got our drinks very quickly. However, due to the immense amount of people upstairs and the live band, there was nowhere to really go, so we were forced downstairs.
The downstairs is completely different than upstairs. While upstairs there is more of your typical bar and guitar vibe, downstairs is more like a club. Low ceilings, running LEDs lights, huge TVs everywhere, with EDM/hip-hop music. Seating downstairs was pretty limited too but we were able to find a couple small tables to stand at. It was so hot downstairs we decided to gulp down our drinks and leave immediately.
I would maybe consider coming back to this place during a regular night.

Came on Valentines Day and it was super fun! There was a live band, bar games like Connect 4, Jenga and plenty of shots to go around! Our server was perfect! It was a great night!
