Chicken tenders are pretty hard to mess up but they somehow managed to make these inedible. Service was okay, weird atmosphere.

Came in around 10pm on a Sunday to finish up SNF. Had a drink and then ordered another around 10:55 thinking they were open until midnight. Almost immediately after ordering (no last call announcement), they turned the lights on, then 5 minutes later bouncer whistled to tell everyone to finish up their drinks and get out (telling everyone they know the drill). Website says open until midnight, why are they kicking people out an hour early?

First time at Barstool Bar in Chicago and we had an awesome experience! Security guard Blue took great care of us, super professional and made sure we were safe, even stepping in when a few sketchy people came by. The team here really looks out for their guests. Weâll definitely be back!

At first when I got here, I wondered why it had such mid reviews. It became clear when we got to the afternoon slate of football games, and they left 20%+ of the TVs on old channels that were just showing news and highlights of the earlier games. When asked if we could change the nearest one to any channel actually showing a game, the server told us âmy manager said we arenât allowed to change them anymore because we got asked like 100 times yesterday.â Thatâs quite literally the point of being a sports bar, just something you have to deal with if thatâs your whole vibe? Currently at halftime, of the afternoon games and multiple TVs in the establishment are showing whatâs in the attached photo. This is a sports-bar for people betting on sports, WE WANT TO WATCH THE GAMES.

3.9 / 5 - Fun atmosphere, a little bit touristy.
Food was decent, average bar food. Drinks were decent but a bit pricey. Service was polite, but not above average.
It was a decent sports style bar. Watched the Bears home opener. Not sure if I would go back. There were better options.

An American African very skinny security guy was very aggressive with us on a Tuesday night at 8pm, as we were getting in to have dinner. Our âmistakeâ not stopping and giving him our IDs without him asking. Obviously when he asked we said âof course, there you go out IDâ but he kept going: âhavenât you seen a security standing here?â âIn america we give our ID at the doorâ.
We said that we didnât know and that he just needed to ask for it and then he would get it (not every place we go to people ask us for our ID - we are 35-40 years old). He was very aggressive, so obviously we didnât even want to argue or waste our time, so we went to another bar in the same street (where people were very welcoming and treated us properly).

Easily the best sports bar in Chicago at the moment. More TV's than I count could, a DJ spinning tunes during commercial breaks of the premier game and a live band around 10pm. Had a great time at this place with great bartenders. The wings were amazing and the overall atmosphere was perfect for college gameday!

itâs alright but a double titoâs and soda was $30 which is wild. we live downtown so weâre used to crazy prices but thatâs insane.
