Yum! After walking past the amazing smells of the Baskethouse booth at the Wheaton Market I learned they were plant-based and my little vegan heart jumped for joy. So flavorful - Highly recommend!
Tried these at an art and craft fair.
Incredible savory pastries. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and executed.
If you didn't know it was all plant based, you would think it's made of flakey, buttery croissant dough, and perfectly cooked meat.
I’ve tried a bunch of their baskets from farmers markets and they’re all excellent!
These are fantastic! I'm always so excited when they're at a market I'm near. I buy extra as they heat up very well so don't hesitate to buy more. The pastry is perfect, the fillings divine.
Super delicious vegan comfort food. Tasty fillings and flakey crusts are the perfect treat. My daughter is obsessed & that’s high praise from a tween.

Amazing food made by Amazing people
Super tasty and filling, good variety of flavors and made with love
As someone who constantly seeks out innovative and health-conscious food options, I was thrilled to stumble upon this unique vegan hot muffin that intriguingly resembles an empanada. The quality of ingredients is top-notch. You can tell that each component has been chosen with care and consideration for both flavor and health benefits. The muffin is free from artificial additives, reinforcing its commitment to natural, wholesome nutrition. When it comes to price, this vegan hot muffin hits the sweet spot. It's affordable enough to be a regular part of your diet without feeling like a splurge, yet the quality and taste make it feel like a treat. This balance of cost and quality is not easily found in the market, especially for vegan options that are often priced at a premium.

Tried their food during the Logan Square Farmers Market, and wow! It was so delicious. Both times I went to the market, I had their food because it was so tasty. The women that ran the booth were so lovely and nice. I hope they contuine to sell their food items when the market is in season again!

Let me start off by sayin this, I ain’t no vegan. I love my meat. At initial glance, I thought this was meat, and I was intrigued. Upon further investigation I find out it’s vegan, but I decide to give the soy chorizo and bean one a try anyway. And boy oh boy I loved it! The sauce… DELICIOUS! It was stuffed to perfection! And don’t even get me started on that flaky crust! A MUST TRY at the Wheaton farmers market.
Added bonus: very friendly and inviting customer service
I’ll have to come back and try them all.
I get them every week at the farmers market. Picadillo is my favorite but I usually get two and mix it up with the second.
Tried their scrambled tofu basket at the South Loop Farmers Market and WOW you gotta try this!! Amazingly flaky and the homemade hot sauce was a perfect addition !
