Excellent food; this is a waffle place so order those. The clock n gouf came in a generous size, with a delicious moist and spicy chicken breast on top as well as in the waffle. This would be a regular breakfast spot if I lived nearby.

Beyond disappointed with my experience here. When I got to the restaurant, it was packed and people were waiting outside for a table. We joined the wait list for a table, after 40 minutes+ of waiting we got a table. While we waited inside we overheard the host tell a delivery guy that they were backed up and the food was not ready yet. We wanted to verify the information we heard to make a decision to leave and go somewhere else, and the host told us that they were only back up on delivery orders not dine in orders. We placed our order and paid for it within minutes, not knowing the waiting game would continue. After waiting another 40 minutes we still didn't receive our order. We requested updates and even told them to pack it to go since we had to go. The waitress told us she's getting her manager. We were only given part of our order before leaving, telling them we would be back for the rest. Not once did the manager come before we left. We were not given our drink while waiting. When we came back for the rest of our order, it still was not ready, which was a little more than 30 minutes since we told them we were coming back. If you looking for a quick breakfast this is not the place for you. For context, it was only one other person and myself, there is no reason why our order should take longer than an hour.
They also have a rule in which all persons in your party must be present in order to get the table, which was odd since most places allow you to get your table if 50% of your party is present.

Sat on waiting list for 2 hours. Upon checking in, host said our only option would be to seat at a grouped table then allowed another party of same size to sit at a their own table right after us. The waiter then came over to the table and didn’t say hi or hello. She just addressed the table by saying “can I have your attention”. Very disappointing experience as someone who has been here multiple times before.

We were able to get a new server named TUSEMI who was amazing and helped save our experience. Thank you Tusemi!

We love this place. It gets busy so use the yelp waitlist. The french toast flight is worth the hype, and we also loved the cheesy hash brown potatoes. If they have the special omelette with fried chicken Alfredo, that’s great also.

Of all the things that were not great about this place, there was tape on my knife. I pointed it out to our waiter and he told me that knives are delivered bundled up in tape. Well, sure. I've unpackaged utensils once or twice myself. But I remove the tape before washing them and placing them in a napkin. So, was it not washed? If that is what they are presenting in the front of the house, what are they overlooking in the kitchen?

OMG! First experience and the food was amazing. I got the super French toast flight with the special of the day being a peach flavor. All the flavors were good. I’m not a lemon person, so that was my least to enjoy. My favorite was the Carmel flavor. I also indulged in the sweet potato waffle with chicken—amazing! We got a side of chicken sausage and eggs. The sausage lacked flavor, but the eggs were cooked to perfection. The fruit was fresh & delicious. Our server stimulated our mind with a couple of riddles. We really enjoyed his service.

Went for breakfast today with our 2 small kids and had the best experience. The staff was so friendly, the food was incredible (shout out to the jambalaya biscuits and gravy and Cluck-N-Gaufre), and the environment was cozy. We also had the French toast flight and good grief it was delightful. We will definitely be back again and again!

Such a tasty Lincoln Park breakfast spot. The chicken sausage omelette was top tier and of course the French Toast was delicious. One of the best service experiences we’ve had in a long while. Each and every employee we interacted with was welcoming and warm, perfect for an arctic chicago morning.

Food was a 10/10, and the customer service was incredibly welcoming. Sad to see the Creole omelet go, but excited to see what’s coming next!

I used to Love Batter’s and Berries, it was my favorite restaurant until recently. I wanted to make this a place that I can make fond memories with my grandson but things have changed. It took forever for me to receive my food and when I did, this is what was presented to me. A Cold egg white omelette with burned vegetables placed on top. I was Told that it tasted better than it looks. You be the Judge, We will not be returning.
