The ambience feels uncomfortable and ugly. The employees are rude and unaccommodating. They don't understand what hospitality is or service with a genuine wholesome smile. I don't know if it's because I'm Caucasian but when I walked in they didn't seem to want me in their restaurant. I asked to purchase some food and either they didn't understand what I said or they didn't want to sell anything to me or both. I shop for work as a restaurant reviewer and obviously this place didn't do so well. I purchased two hot tees but I had a hard time purchasing the first one and then they gave me a harder time purchasing the second one. I was reading the menu and they said the menus are all old. I don't think this place is for everyone and they don't treat people equally. I don't think this place is actually a restaurant where all are welcome. They might have been rude to me because they saw my DoorDash bag.

Guys Dont eat from here because me and my friend we both got food poisoning from eating here one night . It was our first and last time trying this place. Even one of the workers their his friends told us not to eat from there we missed new years celebration because of this food poisoning.

Amazing spicy dosa! We stopped in for a quick bite and the food was delicious! Tiny spot, very casual. The men running the place were very friendly and answered my questions about the menu, as Iâm not very familiar with the cuisine. Definitely would come back again!

I tried the dosa, idli, and vada with sambar, and honestly, the taste was really disappointing. I donât know what happened to peopleâs taste buds Iâm sorry to say, but everything tasted awful. This is not what I expected from South Indian food. My friends brought me here, and we were all very disappointed.

Ordered mutton biryani, it came with just 2â3 tiny pieces of meat, and they charged $20 for it. They couldnât even show us a menu. When we asked, boom⌠no menu! Prices are completely random! Do not recommend!

I had to wait over 1 and a half hours for my food for them to upcharge me 20$ for each of my mutton byriyani bowls and decided to send me home with 1 mutton and 3 chicken, they refuse to give me anything back for their own mistake and say âyou shouldâve told us yesterday itselfâ they are scammers and donât deserve to be ran the place is empty with no one else around it can just show what kind of ppl they are

âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Absolutely delicious! Bawarchi on Devon never disappoints. The Bagara Khana was perfectly cookedâfragrant, flavorful, and light, pairing beautifully with the rich and hearty Dalcha. The combination tasted just like authentic Hyderabadi home cooking. The spices were well balanced, not too heavy, and the aroma was mouthwatering from the very first bite.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was quick even though the place was busy. The restaurant has a simple, homely vibe, which makes the food shine even more.
If youâre looking for real Hyderabadi flavors in Chicago, this is the place to go. Highly recommend trying their Bagara Khana with Dalchaâyouâll love it!
