BBQ King House offers affordable prices with generous portions that are perfect for sharing. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Service is friendly, and complimentary tea is a nice bonus that adds to the overall dining experience. A great spot for good food and value!

I was in town for business and had a few hours to indulge the foodie side of me, and I’m so glad I found BBQ King House in Chinatown Plaza. This place serves some of the most authentic Hong Kong–style barbecue in Chicago. The roast duck was incredible — perfectly glazed, juicy, and full of rich flavor — and the crispy pork belly had that authentic crunch that’s hard to find anywhere else.
I also tried the salt and pepper shrimp, which was light, crispy, and packed with that classic garlic and pepper flavor. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly made.
The restaurant has that no-frills, authentic local feel where the food truly speaks for itself. If you love real Chinese BBQ or want to experience something that feels straight out of Hong Kong, this spot is a must-visit.

We ordered whole roasted duck, stir drien ho fan noodles, seafood fried rice, dumplings soap and all of them were pretty delicious. The roasted duck was super juicy and not dry. The sauce made it real deal when paired with the roasted duck. The lady that serves us was so friendly.

Tried the roast duck again — it didn’t taste as fresh this time, and the flavor was a bit bland. The Princess Chicken was pretty decent though.

More than half the duck was skin with no meat. It was dry and rough. I don’t think these pieces came from one duck. It seemed like all the discard pieces from a bunch of ducks or something. They were all hallow end pieces
the price is affordable in the area. I wish I can have sauce for roasted duck like a casual chinese restaurant.

Delicious roasted duck and pork belly. The wonton soup here is also superb. Don't sleep on the egg rolls; they are good too if you're a fan. Likely the best roasted duck in Chinatown.

Very bad service. I came to picked up duck for my son and they told me I have to spend over $30 to get my parking validate for the parking discount under the bridge. I shouldn’t spent more if not needed.

The char siu was not hanging like the other meats. Rather all the char siu was submerged on a tray with sauce.
That not only dried out the meats but also the msg was alot.
I will not be going back.
