Love this place. Safe, clean, & friendly environment for both kids and parents. I take my 3 year old son here on a weekly basis to play while I get a coffee. Tremendous indoor jungle gym with toys and a smaller quiet side/party room adjacent. Great place for a birthday party too.

This is one of the few cafe / kids activity spaces in the city that is both fun for kids and great for parents. Nicely made Metric coffee drinks, chill spot for parents to hang, and awesome climbing gym for kids. Owner is super friendly too boot. Highly recommend for any parents in the neighborhood.

just met my daughter-in-law at this coffee shop/play place with my 18-month old grandson. It is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and the play area is clean and uncluttered. Such a great concept, and great way for little ones to burn off extra energy on a cold winter day. Also, the play structure is spacious, and it was easy for us to keep track of our little one. I would highly recommend it

We love going here. It is comfortable warm easy inviting and fun. Our kids are 2 and 4 and both kids are busy with fabulous activities. This is a must go to.
Just what the kid needs on a cold day. Get some energy out and run wild. Can get crowded but never overwhelmingly so. Run them ragged and down for a nap, works for me. Also when I have to work from home to care for my kid I can shoot over to Be Kids and work from there. Win-Win.

They serve the best coffee (Metric) in both Humboldt Park and Logan Square plus they serve Bang Bang Pie. No reason to go anywhere else if you live the neighborhood. In addition, the cafe is separate from the kid’s area so you can come and enjoy a coffee and pastries even if you don’t have kids. Seriously, no reason not to come check this place out. You won’t be disappointed and if you have kids they won’t be disappointed either.
