Don't know why they're so into signaling their ideology with the cups and attitude. But pastries are good, quite good. Weird that they're closed Tuesday and Wednesday - if you're overworked then hire someone. Service is slow. Place has lots of untapped potential that's unused thanks to "politics".
I live in the area and frequently visit Beans and Bagels for coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. However, I recently ordered a turkey sandwich with bacon and was charged $29 for just that, with no coffee or extras. I was taken aback by the high cost, and unfortunately, the sandwich didn't meet my expectations. Overall, I'm very disappointed.
