Aggressive staff, common for them to yell at or belittle patrons, pretty obvious racial profiling going on at the door. After all that the food is only “eh”… just go somewhere else and thank me later

Aggressive and unaccepting. Terrible service by the staff

Absolutely fantastic food, perfect acoustics. Been here probably 15 times and every single show has sounded great. Intimate and dry, not too reverby or echoing so you can clearly hear everything a band is doing. Never been to a bad show here, and most have been outstanding. Top 3 favorite venues in the whole city.

This place is super racist they check ID’s for minorities and people of color while letting the white people skip and hop in without any issues. The security also has a bias not accepting valid forms of Identification just because they aren’t common. So unless you are white with local Illinois ID’s you will be discriminated against

I've played here, partied here, and drank here!
Great selection of drafts, cans, & spirits with a fast kitchen.
The sound always delivers and the staff is top notch.
Come in to see a show at the live room or enjoy a beverage on their huge patio.

Underground comedy is the best. All the performers were hilarious, very intimate experience. They are all invited to my wedding.

This is one of my favorite Chicago venues to see live music. The staff is lovely and food is delicious. I recommend the goat cheese pizza.

First time visit to Beat Kitchen. We went for a show. The food was excellent! Service was great! Only complaint was the heat in the concert room. It was seriously hot packed with bodies. Great venue for intimate concert! Gotta do something about the 🥵 🔥!

As a handicap person this place was an accessibly nightmare. There’s no ADA section or anywhere to sit or stand that is safe. I went to a metal show here and the very small room became dangerous with moshing. I had to move to the back where I was not able to see at all and entirely missed the band I came to see because I couldn’t see the stage. Then the bathrooms are down a flight of stairs and I just had a hip replacement and found this very difficult. I’m visibly disabled and not once did a staff member offer any assistance or accommodation. There’s no excuse in this day and age to not have the means to accommodate someone with a disability. I also saw another disabled person in the crowd that went unassisted by the staff in dangerous and crowded conditions. I will never see a show here again.

Door people are on some insane power trip and treat people like absolute shit for no reason. I work at another venue as a door person and box office attendant, this is no way to treat people and is completely unprofessional.
