Yesterday we ordered the carryout Valentine's Dinner for Two. We ordered on a sort of whim, but it turned out to be one of the best dinners we've had in a long time. Every dish was fantastic. Everything was easy to prepare. And we actually made it to the dessert, which was awesome. Please, Beatrix, do this again sometime. We'll be there.

3/4 of us wish there had been some sort of seasoning in the food. That was disappointing. We had burger, fish tacos, and steak & fries.

In scrubbs, I was ignored at the door to make a to-go order. A dapper gentleman approached the desk and the seemingly busy host stopped her call to address and handle his concern then continued to ignore me. I promptly left and ordered at a competitors restaurant instead.

We didn't have this booked or recommended to us, we just purely went on google reviews and glad we did. The most amazing breakfast I had in Chicago. Everything was perfect. Looks like it does get busy, so may be worth a reservation just in case.

I came in to eat here with my daughter and it was a bad day for me. I was rude to the hostess who did not deserve it. The owner or manager showed me so much kindness it is something I will remember for the rest of my life…not to mention the food and drinks were amazing. I will always eat here when I visit Chicago. Thank u for making my heart sparkle a bit again ✨

This is a very good spot to eat. Quality is above and beyond. I normally don’t take time to make a review unless the place is extremely good. Rick Smith is awesome.

After a long day of sightseeing we were ready to relax and enjoy a good meal. This restaurant was close to our hotel and, based on the reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. All three diners in our party enjoyed our respective selections. My burger and fries was perfect, short ribs were delicious and chicken enchiladas also got a thumbs up. Our server was attentive and friendly. It was early in the evening and so it was not super busy yet. It was the perfect place to wind up our long weekend in Chicago. I would definitely come back again!

This was a cute breakfast spot. It's inside a hospital, which was surprising for us to see. I've never seen such a cute restaurant within a hospital before! We each ordered something different, and we all enjoyed our dishes. I ordered the egg white omelette and really enjoyed it! My friend ordered a prime burger, and my other friend ordered the avocado toast and the tacos. I had a bite of her avocado toast and loved it. I also ordered a green juice, which helped me feel healthy. I definitely recommend this spot!

Stopped in for lunch here. We didn't have a reservation so we had a small wait. After we were seated our server arrived pretty quickly to ask about drinks. I got an Irish coffee and it was GOOD! Liquor with a splash of coffee. I'm so used to them being watered down, so it was a nice surprise. Hubby got the braised beef pappardelle and I got a chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun. Both were d.e.l.i.ci.o.u.s!!!! Our server seemed to have a large area to tend to, so we had to flag him down for some help. There wasn't any other staff wandering around either, but there were plenty standing around by the check in station. Not sure what that was about but we weren't the only people that noticed. We walked here from northwestern hospital, so if you are planning ac trip there try to stop in here.

I was sad to miss their breakfast by a few minutes, but the lunch did not disappoint. It was probably one of the best meals I had during my stay in Chicago! The ham and cheese croissant was super flaky and savory, the grilled chicken sandwich had a slight sweetness from the pears which I enjoyed, and the mushroom teriyaki bowl was slight smoky with a nice balance of texture and flavors. The brussel sprouts were delicious too! Everything was made so well, and it seems like a lot of the dishes incorporate asian ingredients and flavors. Highly recommend!

Great place to grab some food and drinks with friends or a business meeting. Upbeat vibe, great service and always consistent. For a quick bite, you can get fresh made food from the attached market and take it with you as they also have some different food choices.

I was strolling around Downtown Chicago for the first time and wandered into this gem. I was in town for a quick work trip and wanted to go see the city and what it had to offer. I was not disappointed. I was seated right away and greeted promptly. I tried the strawberry guava refresher and it's was delicious. It was a little thicker in consistency, which I'm not usually into, but the flavors were on point. Maybe put some soda water or something in it. I finished it, Yum! Then I went for the classic breakfast with maple sugar, peppered bacon. OMG that bacon! The hash browns were buttery, crispy, and delicious, and the over medium eggs were cooked perfect. You can tell a lot about a place when they just nail the simple things. The service was prompt and very friendly, not missing a single step. There were many other tantalizing offerings available. It was also an espresso joint and fresh bakery. I will be bringing my wife along next time! Thank you for a great experience!

Came here with a group of friends after the hot chocolate run. Appreciate the fact we were able to make reservation as we saw some customers waiting. Great variety of choices for brunch from eggs to salad to burger. I got the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich (as pictured). Portion was good for brunch but didn't really fill me up after a run lol. The sauce on the side was interesting, more sweet with a hint of spiciness. I didn't try anyone else's food so couldn't comment on it. The ambience was nice, clean, good lighting. Our waitress was nice and accommodating to our needs. She checked in on us frequently too. Food came out very quick for us hungry post runners. I didn't pay attention to the parking as we walked over. Note there's a 3% surcharge automatically added, which is stated at the bottom of their online menu, for what? Not sure, but it can be removed, you have to ask. They do allow up to 3 separate checks/bill per table FYI.
