My friend and I stopped here for happy hour on a Friday afternoon and it was a complete vibe. We sat at the bar and got drinks swiftly. Our first round we had the house old-fashioned. It was OK but the second round we switched to Moscow mules and they were much better. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Very upscale and trendy in a beautiful building.

Here to give an absolutely joyous 5 star review of this place, because if I could give 10 I would. My husband and I actually ordered this *online* through Uber Eats. Ordered the faroe island salmon bowl, the whipped feta and a salad. We travel all the time for work, and I'm constantly saying that what I desperately want is a restaurant that makes delicious, seasoned staple items without over saucing/buttering/etc. We finally found it and that has made me so happy that I went to Google to write a review for an Uber Eats order. (you feel me?!). I can only imagine that if Beatrix Loop was this delicious after transport it is approximately 3 million times more delicious at the restaurant. You should go eat there, because you like good food and they have it.

Got the avocado toast with two eggs and the breakfast sandwich. Both were phenomenal and decently priced. Got the Mexican cold brew as well.

Ambiance is great for brunch. Service was solid and friendly.

Food was very good. Vegan tortilla soup, vegan panang curry, and corn bread, all great. Cookies were a little hard though.

I'd been to that location when it was PrimeBar and was happy to see that Beatrix kept the vibe while making some smart changes to the space. It was a bitter cold Friday in Chicago, but the restaurant was doing a brisk lunch business. I was with a friend for her birthday. We both loved our food... she had that brilliant Prime Burger and I had the Asian Chicken Salad. My plate was cleaned. My friend declined her birthday treat, but the server wrapped up a cookie for her to take home. Very nice people. Luxury feel without outrageous prices.

Located conveniently near the Loop and Broadway in Chicago, Beatrix Loop offers delicious food options. Their take on the mushroom and quinoa burger for vegetarians is worth trying.
Appropriately priced and decent portions.

My companion had the most beautiful side order of fruit I've ever seen (pomegranate seeds!) and my lemon pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious. Our server was personable and attentive.

I've been to Beatrix many times, and this location specifically 2-3 times. The service and hospitality at my last visit was atrocious - very unlike the previous experiences I've had. My friend and I had theater tickets, and we informed our server when we sat down at 5:15 that we had to leave by 6:30. We placed an order for happy hour drinks, and drinks were delivered normally. We placed our food order at that time, probably around 5:30. We didn't see our server again until we realized it was 5:57 and happy hour was about to end. We flagged her down, and placed an order for one more round, asked after our food. Ten minutes later, our drinks were delivered by a runner - not our server - still no food. At 6:10, we asked a busboy to find our server. She came at 6:15, no food in hand, so we asked again, and told her again we had to leave shortly. She brought our food, which - shocking - was ice cold. Not even room temp, it was as if it'd been sitting in a fridge. We told her, and she had the manager come over, who offered to replace our meals, but we had no time to wait for cooked food. She brought us 1 whipped feta appetizer to share, did not comp any of our drinks, and sent us on our way without dinner and a $30 bill. Both manager and server were frustratingly unbothered by the situation; no sense of urgency or care. I won't be back to this location.
