Ben's Bar-Be-Cue Reviews
Bens BBQ is extremely high priced and the food is not that good for the prices they charge. The older Black woman who takes the orders is extremely rude and does not care how she talks to people. I give them 3 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 down I would not recommend them to anybody. I’ve been there multiple times and it’s always the same treatment. Rude, High Priced, and very slow. They should have NEVER made CHICAGOS BEST BECAUSE THERE NOT!!!!!
It was nasty all I gotta say old food hard and tough to eat spent way too much money for this garbage 🗑

Ben's Bar-Be-Cue offers a variety of barbecue options, including the Large Turkey Hot Link. While some dishes like the ribs are praised for being tender and flavorful, there have been occasional issues with order accuracy, such as receiving fewer ribs than ordered. The meat quality is often highlighted, with rib tips being tender and juicy, and catfish tails nicely sized and fried to perfection. The presentation remains impressive, as staff ensure customer satisfaction before packaging the food. Service is generally courteous, with staff like Michelle providing samples of chicken, turkey, and ribs before purchase. However, the restaurant operates mainly as a carry-out spot on the West side of Chicago, so there is no dine-in ambiance. Customers note that the place doesn't offer coleslaw, only potato salad, which may be disappointing for some. The sauces are provided separately to complement the dry rub meats. Overall, the restaurant is popular for its tips, with consistently tender and flavorful meats, making it a favorite for those craving ribs or other barbecue dishes.
