The Chicken was cooked to hard, the girl took my my order I told her I didn't want Chicken hard. The RIBS use to be delicious and seasoned very good, use have enough sauce. This order I received the chicken cook hard, ribs was not seasoned, didn't put enough bbq on ribs, and they was boiled, didn't have that smokey smell or taste, they was dry. It wouldn't did any good to complain to manager. They lost my business, SAD about it, this was only place I would get my food. Ben you need to taste your food, seasoned it better and stop boiling the ribs and stop been cheep and get some good bbq sauce the way you use too, or your doors going be closed for good. I guess I will be going to bbq place on Division and central

The restaurant's hours are incorrect. We called 45 minutes before closing. I called them to let them know we were enroute. When we got there all of the lights were out and they were leaving for the evening. I asked as they were exiting where is our order. They told me they didn't make it.

Ben’s has been the best bbq I have ever had until today . I haven’t been to Ben’s for awhile but I decided to go today . The food was disgusting ! They told me it was new owners and I see the difference ! I ordered turkey tips and they smell n taste like pork . Then they look boiled . Then it was a Hispanic making my food . The food is a total waste and I’m so upset I wasted $20 on food I won’t be eating ! And I’m even more sad because I don’t have a place to get ribs anymore 🤦🏾♀️

Rib Tips are always on point. Meaty and delicious. There is very little cartilage in the tips and they are well portioned and cooked to perfection.

I ordered six slabs of ribs for a family dinner and my husband didn't check the pans when he received them and it was only four (two in two pans) and when I called them they denied it. Check your order before you leave.

I will never return to this business again! The cashier gave my food away and then asked me to chase down the man that SHE gave my food to! Then she blamed me and became upset and began arguing and raising her voice! The owner was extremely nice and professional, and she apologized, and had the kitchen remake my food, but then when the food was ready, the cashier told me to go to the car to get my ticket, knowing that the food was prepared especially for me! The cook brought my food outside, but the bbq was overcooked and extra chewy. Horrible experience.

Well this is more of just them making ribs and not really a true restaurant you have to carry it out I discovered this place because of our roommate who was ranting about this place the ribs are actually pretty good but if you're expecting to eat or dine in ambience-wise this is not the place as this is the tip of the West side of Chicago. Service was courteous someone named Michelle who either owns the place or works here give me a sample of the chicken turkey and the ribs before I bought. The ribs are good I didn't really care much for the turkey but the chicken was good my only disappointment why four out of five stars is that they did not have coleslaw only potato salad and I wasn't craving for that and I don't need any more carbs since I lost weight other than that little pricey for the large but I was that hungry for ribs they give you a separate sauce since it's dry rub tasting other than that that's my experience I have to now go home and eat it
