The ambience here is fine and the people working were nice, but the food was not great overall. My husband got the Philly with halal chicken and it was one of the worst sandwiches we’ve ever had. It had ketchup on it, which dominated the flavor of the sandwich (and is not traditional for a Philly), the veggies were overcooked and mushy, there wasn’t a lot of chicken, and the potatoes it came with were not fully cooked. I got a BLT, which was actually pretty good for a BLT, but it didn’t come with any sides and only had a few slices of bacon on it, so there wasn’t a lot of food for the price. The Philly was so bad though that it kind of ruined our whole lunch.

first time in here and I gotta say... this is a must place! the cutest hidden gem in Hyde Park. very accommodating with all dietary needs. I have a gluten allergy and they took it seriously by cooking my food separately.
in the picture is the plant lovers bowl and the banana pudding shake, it was fenomenal the bowl was so savory and the most perfect smoothie I ever had no joke WOW mwah above 5 stars!!! and then the new yorker sandwich, soft bread savory and fresh ingredients so delicious!! you get so much food for the price, I even took home leftovers!!!
the staff are so friendly! so spacious and so cutely decorated! truly felt like comfort from the food we ate and the cafe itself! had the best experience, will be coming back asap it's now a favorite🥰🫶🏼

This is a great little cafe with a quiet cozy atmosphere & super friendly service. I recommend the chick pea salad sandwich. It has a curry flavor that makes it extra delicious.

Great place for good comfort food, but healthier and vegan friendly! The location is nice in relative to the University and general area. Additionally, the restaurant was quite and easy to have a conversation in. Make sure you ask about their bakery items!!!!

Most amazing little cafe with the most nutritional soul filling vegan, veg and meat options! My entire family went there 2 days in a row because we just couldn't get enough. Gabrielle is absolutely delightful, extremely knowledgeable about natural plant medicine and includes yummy medicinal plants in her food. We entered grumpy and left happy and fulfilled!

This is the best food in Hyde Park, period. Amazing vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. I’ve been waiting for them to reopen and it was worth the wait.
Had a wonderful green eggs and ham! While I was a fan of the vegan options at B’Gabs, I’m thrilled she has brought meat into the menu. I needed a great breakfast sammy, and B’Gabs delivered. Don’t miss out on the flavors, as she has unique and delicious takes on favorites. Sorry for the empty plate picture, but I was hungry.
Been waiting for B’Gabs to reopen for forever and so glad it is back in business!!!! I was met with such love by the owner Gabriella and was mesmerized by the homey vibe and new menu offerings!
I came in hungry and left full and satisfied! Got the Plant Loves Bowl with chickpea eggs (yes, chickpea eggs!!!!!), mushroom and onions! It is definitely an acquired taste if you haven’t had it before but I LOVED it!
Even got a chance to get some much needed work done too in the back!
I can’t wait to return with more vegan, vegetarian, and meat eating friends!
