This place is a wonderful Polish neighborhood bar. There's always somebody cool to meet and the bartenders are friendly. They have an awesome pool table and you can find great Polish beer at an awesome price.

This place is the best. Great neighborhood Chicago bar. The owner, Ala, is one of the best bartenders I’ve met. She’s gracious and lovely but won’t take shit. If you want to experience Chicago, Malort, and the neighborhood feel of this city, come here.

I went in last night in the height of summer. In a crop top and jeans and the bartender asked me if I had a coat. I said no. and she just stared so my friend asked what's up. She irritated that I should have a coat and she thought I'd be "wearing more clothes." Meanwhile, it's 90 degrees outside and I've just walked into a dive bar. highly do not recommend. extremely rude. and will be telling anyone I can not to go there
