Just a terribly managed bar. Poor beer selection and limited menu. Ordered a burger and 20 minutes later said cook was behind and hadn’t started my food. “Had no setups, Do I still want it?”. Manager clueless as to what was going on. 5pm. Find a new manager.

Lobby bar at Hyatt Regency. Located on second floor with really large windows overlooking the river area. The happy hour is pretty good for a hotel bar.

Solid hotel bar with tons of TVs to watch games. Service was solid and prices were reasonable for the area.

Atmosphere and size of the space was a 10/10. It has televisions covering the floor to ceiling windows, but we could see the fireworks and river. Expect hotel bar food and drinks. Lots of space to sit, doesn't take reservations. Good spot to see fireworks too!

This bar is located inside the Hyatt Regency Chicago where I was staying on a trip to Chicago. I decided to have a drink there one evening kill time after exploring the Navy Pier and taking a River Boat tour. The bar is neat and clean but nothing to go out of your way to see. Half of the bar was blocked off for a dentist conference that night. I got to the bar before my group and didn’t realize I was sitting in the reserved area at first. Once a very nice dentist started speaking to me about the finer nuances of the Mesial, Distal and Buccal edges of a tooth, I realized my error. I thanked the kind dentist for the interesting information and excused myself as I saw my party entering the bar. When I made my way to the other side of the barrier and to the table where my party was seated, it did take a minute before the waiter made it to our table. It was quite busy that evening, so I was understanding of the situation.I ordered an Anti Hero IPA, which is a beer brewed by a local brewery called Revolution Brewing. The beer itself was hoppy and crisp. Quite bitter with hints of citrus and sweet caramel/butterscotch taste. I thought the beer was great and I ordered another one. In the end, we sat there for about an hour and enjoyed a few drinks. This is not a bad spot to sit and chill, especially if you’re staying in the hotel. Otherwise, it’s not a bar you need to go out of your way to visit. I’m giving the bar a four star review based on the beer, which was really good.

I haven't eaten, but having a beer at the bar watching the game is quite an experience. There are many screens, you don't miss anything.

I love the BIG Bar. We're staying at a different hotel on an upcoming trip but still plan to make a stop at BIG Bar just because of how friendly the staff is.We spent hours here during a rainy December day watching sports and chatting with strangers.

The BIG Bar was very good. It is located in the Hyatt Regency Downtown Chicago and we went there twice, both Friday and Saturday night. The wait staff were friendly and fast and our drinks were great. A good place to visit when downtown Chicago.

The cocktails are awful. For a bar in a fancy hotel, this place is not worth it. The prices are equal to some of Chicago's finest cocktail lounges but the quality is worse than what you'd expect from a dive in a college town. The windows are facing a beautiful skyline view which is completely blocked by TV screens. The screens should be on the side overlooking the lobby, not in front of the giant glass windows that lookout to the skyline across the river.

Grabbing a drink here was our worst decision on a 6 day trip - it was THAT bad. Decided to grab a drink on our last night only to end up leaving it on the bar and having to go to our room the rest of the night w/how nauseous I was, nobody else finished their drinks. Also know: this is not a nice hotel bar or a good bar in any way… it is a sports bar where they have covered the beautiful Chicago view with >15 TV’s showing 9 (I counted) different things at once - from games to news to NCIS- and the nicer area of the bar gets closed out. We were already here so we tried to power through the cheap sports bar look and make the best of way into my cocktail, I was SO NAUSEATED with how overly sweet and cheap licor it was made of. The other person ordered an Old Fashioned: it just tasted like cheap whiskey on a million and one pieces of small ice.I couldn’t finish my drink despite it being hotel prices… I don’t remember when was the last time I left a cocktail: I really tried, and I regret even trying to drink it. There was no drinking that junk, and the Old Fashion was just as bad.Cherry on top: the bar area smelled very foul. Like a wet old rag combined with a cheap cleaning product… I couldn’t put my finger on it, but it did not help the nauseating situation
