Weak drinks and 1 guy working a full bar and running food. If you’re not going to staff you’re not going to get returning customers

I didn't go for the food. I don't live up there, hard to give an accurate review if you're not of the area with other spots to review near by as well however, great atmosphere, tons of fun, lots of people, multiple bartenders when I went, wait wasn't too bad for drinks, wasn't really watching my spending so couldn't comment on that either.

I could not recommend this place ever in my entire life. The drinks are awful and the bouncer made us wait in the rain for our uber. Horrible service and drinks.
So the first time I went was Thursday night. Little sketchy but good dive bar feel. I played the jukebox. I ordered the steak dinner surprisingly good. Overall 5 out of 5 experience Thursday.
I’m from out of state and just moved here. My luggage went missing at o hare and my license was in the luggage. So I reached out to our state dmv for a replacement copy. They issue out a temporary id in the meantime. That has name, address, and photo. I even also have my voters registration which reflects the same name age, date of birth and address as the id.
I tell you all This saying that Thursday I had zero issues getting in. The door guy reviewed the temporary id and let me in. Okay cool. I decided to go back the next night.
Two two door guys refused to accept LEGAL ID and one claimed he was the manager and was an absolute jerk. It felt discriminatory and he got mad that I called him out in discriminatory practices.
I’m willing to change my review if ownership reaches out but I’m disgusted and disappointed with the door staff.
Came in for a quick visit and didn’t know what drink to order. The bartender (i believe her name was Tristine?) was incredibly helpful and friendly! She served me a delicious mixed drink! Great experience, thank you!

Took 20 minutes to order drinks. Another 30 to order food. Which never came. Then someone next door got pepper sprayed and it came in bar. We are ere all coughing. It took me shouting to get my money back for the food that never arrived. Rude, crass, completely clueless staff and management. Never ever go there

Natasha and Oscar are the GOATs! They are amazing and always take care of you. By the way, no matter where you go, you'll never find a better place for quality late night bites. Could it use a bit of love from the dancefloor perspective? Of course but it's not what it used to be.
It's now a great place to grab a drink, order some great food, and chill with the people you care about most!

The service was slow, we ordered a hamburger with fries, it took more than 40 minutes and the place was empty, the fries were not fresh, they were normal chips from a bag and they were hard, the drinks have a special on the entrance board which they don't update, and in general the girl at the bar was not very friendly unless you are white, I do not recommend it, expensive, bad and slow service

We asked for water after getting 4 drinks. They said no, the fact that we had to ask for water and the manager said we couldn’t…. Lawsuit on site. So pathetic. If you want to go to the worst bar in Chicago that fights you for water… don’t go here. So disgusting.

Stopped by Big City Tap after a show at The Vic and spent about $35. Grabbed the Johnny Burger, a side of tots, and a $5 Stella pint. The burger was juicy, the tots crispy, and the beer was cold, perfect combo. The vibe was lively with a DJ spinning, and the staff was friendly. Great spot to keep the night going. Will definitely be back.

My friends, partner and I had decided to go here. The place was dead and there was only one bartender. The bartender handed us menus and told us that we had to come up to the bar to place our orders.
My partner and I went up to the bar to place our order, while loud music was playing.
The bartender seemed like she didn't know the menu and she didn't listen.
She got my partner's food order incorrect and did not listen when she was trying to explain what she wanted again. She also never placed the food order for one of my friends and never came to the table to check up on us.
Don't think I will be going back to this place
