My husband and I got married this summer and had the pleasure of having BDP cater our wedding at Harold Washington Library. As most people know, planning a wedding can be stressful :). I don't think I would have survived without the help of Jasmine, Chelsey and the wonderful BDP team throughout the process. BDP goes above and beyond expectations for a wedding caterer. From our thoughtful tasting that felt like a private dinner, to our final walk through, I will never run out of good things to say about BDP. I recommend them to every couple I know getting married. The food is DELICIOUS. We had guests coming up to us left and right saying “Who catered your wedding? The food tastes like we’re eating at a nice restaurant, nowhere near ‘typical’ wedding food we usually have!”

We knew BDP was the right fit for our wedding. Everything from start to finish went smoothly and we felt our needs were taken care of with no questions left unanswered. All the food at our tasting was fittingly delicious so our toughest challenge was deciding what we wanted to select. The various dessert options including the cake with different styles and flavors were the cherry on top.
Everyone we interacted with at BDP was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our wedding venue looked fantastic, thanks in part to their help providing signs and those extra touches that made it look even better than we were hoping. We highly recommend BDP for any event!

We worked with BDP for our wedding and had our rehearsal dinner at their location the night before. I cannot recommend them enough! We loved the urban farm and farm-to-table approach. All the food was so fresh and super delicious! We've had some unimpressive wedding food in the past but with BDP ours was so delicious and different. We worked with Jasmine and she made life so easy from the start. Our tasting with her was amazing, she created dishes based on what we told her we liked and she delivered. We got to try full portions and she explained what was in each one. She even gave us a draft wedding timeline when she sent us the initial proposal and it really helped us so much before the wedding and before meeting out coordinator. Jasmine and her team were literally amazing day of our wedding, they handles so much and it felt seamless. I also really appreciated our head table had a dedicated server. BDP is all we could have hoped for fresh food, delicious food, friendly and professional staff, 10/10!!!

Chelsey was nothing short of amazing. From the minute we inquired she was so attentive and kind. BDP provided us with the most detailed proposal and happily swapped items out to create the amazing menu we had at our wedding. When we had an our tasting, Chelsey created personalized menus with our names, details that made the experience a cherished memory, we felt so special! BDP was on frequent communication with us and always answered our questions promptly. We loved touring the farm at BDP, it really made us feel like we made the right vendor selection for catering. We love farm to table and they really emphasize how they grow and source locally. On the actual wedding day, BDP staff and Chelsey exceeded our expectations. Every person we talked to was so kind and genuine. They brought us our specialty cocktails and appetizers to the bridal suite right after our ceremony, and let us have a sneak peak of the room reveal before dinner service. All of our guests raved about the food and kept telling us it was the best wedding food they’ve had! If we could do it over again we would choose BDP every time!

There is no other place like it in the city. The team does such a great job at maintaining the property and I love how resourceful and environmentally friendly they are. Having our wedding there was an absolute dream. Being surrounded by nature and eating food from their garden was so special. All of the staff there on our wedding day were so kind, helpful and made sure we had the perfect day. They even took our wedding cake inspo and made it better than we expected!
