Love Big Shoulders coffee! I miss the days of their coffee truck. This is a nice location with lots of street parking. Inside is mellow vibes and the staff is always friendly. Great for a conversation, gaming, or getting some work done.
Specialty lattes are phenomenal here! My first drink years ago was the marshmallow latte, and it’s still my favorite. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.
If I’m not in the area, I swing by Rendang Republic in Wrigleyville since they serve Big Shoulders coffee & lattes as well.

The cold horchata latte is pretty good. Actually tastes like horchata. Had it a few times and only had 1 instance where it didnt taste like hortchata. I think they didnt stir the horchata before serving it.

Nice spot on a busy six corner intersection with ample seating, wifi, and a good selection of drinks and pastries.
The pour over i got was pretty good as was the pastry. Staff were also friendly and service was quick.
With the amount of space available this is a great spot to work remote or read.

Strawberry matcha was decent, good tip about adding the vanilla. Lavender latte was okay, could’ve used more lavender because once I stirred everything around I lost some of that flavor. Muffin was warm, filled with so many blueberries and delicious. This is a quiet air conditioned place that’s perfect for taking a quick rest on a hot day.

Disappointed with the Horchata Latte Adding cinnamon to a regular latte doesn't make it a Horchata flavored latte. Where is the condensed milk , where did you boil the rice or blend the rice. Did you let the rice water rest overnight?

This is Big Shoulder’s newer location that serves single origin and innovative drinks that other locations do not. Great service and the espresso was dialed in perfectly!Gabe did a great job at explaining the coffee they were serving!

I love Big Shoulders and this location is no exception. I’m still giving 5 stars but I hope someone from BS sees this feedback. I wish you provided a drip coffee option under 16oz! It’s way too much (to me 12oz is a standard option) and I don’t love being forced to order (and waste) a large size.
