The service, food, and drinks are always fantastic! They are so consistent and everything tastes great every time we are there. We also love how much space there is which makes it very family friendly. This has become a go to spot for us for a great and easy dinner night in the neighborhood.

I was under the impression that this was a mariscos place. So I was expecting a lot more fish on the menu. There is limited fish- however I did get the burger as it was recommended to me by the staff and I did like it! We walked in with a group of about 8 and they were very accommodating there is a lot of space and a cute outdoor area as well. I would come back, just not with the intention of getting mariscos :)

•Food was just ok. •Service was barely adequate •Atmosphere was meh. •I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant where you had to pay for chips and salsa before. •There were no salt and pepper shakers available. We wanted some salt for the chips. I went up to the bar and asked and was given a look like I had asked for the money in the till. He grudgingly poured some margarita salt into a shot glass and handed it to me….

Finding a place with both great food & drinks for friends visiting from out of state. From the moment we walked until we left, we were impressed with all aspects of Big Star West. Atmosphere was conducive to catching up while enjoying several types of tacos & a pitcher or two of margaritas. Staff kept us fed & served, while giving excellent service. Looking forward to returning for outdoor seating once the weather warms up!

I love this location! Bright + sunny. A lot of space. Great for larger groups! Meter or residential parking not too bad. Similar to the original location regarding the food with more options. Fun for kids too with the big TV screen and active atmosphere! 🌮
