We were there yesterday for an event, and the service was first class, and the food out of this world. The music selections on vinyl were fantastic. Our son said he likes to go there often because of the amazing food and the great music. Can’t wait to go back.

Ok, does it feel silly writing a big star review? Yes. Do we all know it’s going to be overpriced tacos? Yes. But really - just want to give a realistic expectation. Vibe is very sports bar + cement floor large open space + park and field esque? It’s so open it’s cold not cozy at all. Music they were playing was great though, percussive pieces. While it was loud and maybe they didn’t realize, our server kinda was shouting the whole time. The mushroom taco is actually bad. The ceviche was not good (not bad but not good) the birria tacos were really good and the carne asada steak taco was pretty good.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs required, smooth floors and wide enough format to likely be able to navigate comfortably

The camarones borrachos were inspired. The crab dip as well. Both were perfect complements to the very good ceviche verde. A nice beer selection and very reasonably priced mezcals. We ate and drank a great deal and so we were surprised that the bill was just $150 for two before tax. The only disappointing dishes were the al pastor tacos—both the mushroom and the pork. They were fine. Really saucy. And they did not at all seem al pastor in style (spit grilled and thinly carved). It was more like a Chinese orange style. It’s a beautiful space and staff were great. Music was a bit odd and loud for the space, which was the only downside to an otherwise stellar atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Great for pescatarians

I have been here with my wife and two children numerous times. I prefer this location to the Wicker Park original in every respect (food, service, overall vibe). The only thing Wicker Park has on this location is the outdoor seating. The brunch is also awesome.

Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. The fish fry on Fridays is amazing!! Comes with the best potato salad I’ve ever had and the breading is gluten free. The owner is also so kind. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious.Service was for the bartender when I asked him about parking and if my car was safe to park there. He answered " I don't know : I walk to work and don't have a vehicle.Rude answer and it was a simple question that didn't get answered while dining in.

I may like big star mariscos more than the original big star. The seafood is phenomenal and the service is great. The general manager ensured we were enjoying our meal and went out of his way to ask us how everything was and check in. It was so kind! In addition to the great seafood they make an amazing quesabirria!

The bartenders were fine. Loud down tempo music in an empty room at 5pm was an odd vibe, and it made communication with the bar not great. The Paloma tasted "like a Paloma should minus the booze"The house shot plus beer plus side of juice cost $4 more than the shot and a beer. The menu for the combo says Draft Pacifico and they serve you a can.The shrimp starter was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Stinky sauce on unpeeled shrimp, and the peels were forever fused to the meat, so I just ended up eating a bunch of shells or burning myself trying to remove the shell. This was served with a side of rice that tasted like nothing.I've washed my hands three times and they still stink like that sauce. It would be great if everyone in the executive team team could put on some decent clothes, sit at the bar and eat the shrimp with only a fork and a stack of McDonald's napkins, and then tell me why you're forcing staff to stand on the corner and harass drivers-by to come in your restaurant. Pay one of the street harassers to go inside and peel some shrimp. The queso with mushrooms was $16 and felt ungenerous and probably contained the equivalent of one medium button mushroom. The microwaved stack of tortillas was a nice touch.$90 for 2 drinks and 2 appetizers with tax and tip. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

Food is good, bourbon and liquor selection is phenomenal, service is normally good. But working in a bourbon bar, you gotta know your top shelf bourbons from your everyday ones. I was served a lower end bourbon when I wanted the high end one. I let it go, but was originally charged for the high end. Luckily, the server checking me out caught the mistake and charged me properly.

Not doggie-friendly. Information online is not updated. Food is not fresh. 1 out of 3 people serving the flood was not too friendly, which set a sour taste. I wouldn't come back.

Came here for restaurant week and had a great time! Service was amazing and the night market concept was fun. I had a Prickly pear margarita and it was amazing as well. I would definitely come back!
