Everyone knows about the “cheezeborger” but I was pleasantly surprised by their breakfast choices. Two eggs, two slices of toast, choice of meat (the salami, which to me is more like good bologna, is DELICIOUS) and hash browns…all made within minutes for just $8.99! It’s like a good diner breakfast but at the Merchandise Mart.

The Obama burger was excellent full of flavor. Like the burger "burger topping bar" they have. Where you can add extra tomatoes, lettuce, onions and pickles. Steak fries are good.

We went on a quiet holiday weekday during lunchtime, and needed a spot that the entire family could agree on. We were pleased that Billy Goat Tavern was open, and wasn't overly busy. The food was above average, the prices were reasonable, and the service was decent (some staff were very friendly, others not so much). We liked that you could get a choice of toppings on the sandwiches, and everything had good flavor. Not the healthiest of meals, but you'd expect that going in.

Ate here a couple times before but won't be coming back due to food cross-contamination and food poisoning risk. I saw a cook today handle raw beef patties and then pack customers' cooked sandwiches without changing gloves or cleaning their hands. I ended up nuking my order in the oven for good measure, hopefully won't have to deal with salmonella or any bugs

the food will do when there aren't too many other choices. I got a double cheeseburger once and both patties were red inside. The patties aren't but 1/8" thick so how can they be red inside. The cashier is the worst part, has no customer service skills. Ring your food up then walk away and sit down, leave every thing up to you to finish the transaction. She's more like we need a cashier, ask your sister if she's available with no skills.Vegetarian options: not much more to say about itWheelchair accessibility: easy to manuver place your order

Excellent cheezborgers, friendly, and all the interesting history on the walls of the original. Can be difficult to find if it’s your first time, but we’ll worth it!

I understand that people have off days but to take my order, take the order of 3-4 people AFTER me and I watch you hand everybody food without so much as a, "you're up next." boiled my blood. It didn't help that I was the only person out of 6 people who looked like me. Then when I asked where my food was, the guy preparing it said, "it's coming up, we forgot." You... you forgot?? My food that was ordered first but none of the food belonging to the many of people who ordered after me. I literally wasn't even able to actually EAT because my lunch was over by the time I returned to my office. And this isn't the first time I've been treated invisible but damn! Not a word?!?!?! I do not plan to shop here again for some time because no one deserves to be looked over when you saw me long enough to take my money! Horrible!

Best value around. Their steak sandwich is a legit ribeye with grilled onions on a great roll. Add Swiss and it's amazing. And it's $7.99. Where are you gonna beat that?

Stopped in for breakfast. The food was wonderful, they were very helpful to us - and extremely satisfied with the value. I'm glad we stopped
Delicious breakfast sandwich and would eat here every morning if I lived here. We came to the mart every morning of our stay to grab breakfast. Yum!

Their hot dogs are awful. The bun and hot dog are hard and rubbery. The hot dog is not even hot, barely warm. Would not recommend at all. Wish I could go back in time and not go here.
Food is not all that tasty
