Don Luis and his staff were absolutely incredible. They treated me and my friends like family. We had the quesabirria flour tortilla with consome, birriaramen, and horchata. Every dish (see photos) was past our expectations and the horchata was perfectly made! We all will be back. Thank you.
The food was so amazing! I really enjoyed the birriaramen. Now only do they cook with love they treat you with it here too.

I visited the restaurant after Church with friends, and I can say this has been the best birria spot I've ever had the privilege to be at! Service was amazing, food tasted as if it were straight out of a commercial/movie! We even had the privilege to conversate with a regular there, who gave us a bit of history behind the restaurant. This place is a hidden gem seriously, I definitely recommend!

The birrieria tacos were delicious; the dipping sauce was on point. The rice and beans were pretty good too, although my rice was kind of dried out. I got my order to go so I didn't dine in. The prices are reasonable as well, I'll definitely be back. 😎

I was searching for birria de chivo... came across this restaurant Don Luis, I'm happy I did the meat was marinated with all the right herbs and spices it was tender yet crispy and toasted on the edges, and the tortilla was homemade, salsa verde was thick creamy and fresh, cabeza was juicy and tasty as well, but the GOAT was the star of the show! YES I WILL BE BACK 😁

I just picked up ramen birria, and when I got home, my plate was full of ramen but had no meat. When I called to let them know, the only response I got was to bring it back so they could see it. I’ve been managing for 10 years — that’s not the kind of response I was expecting

Birria Don Luis has the best Quesa Birria in Chicago. Their taco’s are extremely fresh and made to order. The workers there have amazing auntie hospitality and recommend some of the best food. I’ve been going to Don Luis for three years now and no one’s tacos are as crunchy and fresh as theirs. I recommend the case Iberia tacos with whatever toppings you like and or the amazing Birria Ramen. The Roman comes out Piping hot and full of flavor. Don’t forget to try the amazing Horchata if you know you know. I 100% recommend for anyone needing Comforting Mexican food or someone who is trying Mexican food or barrier for the first time.

Quite possibly some of the best Mexican food ever. Stumbled upon this place while passing through the Southside neighborhood shadowed by the Skyway Bridge. Very clean inside, service was right there with chips & salsa. Diana is a very pleasant, and greater server. For a first visit I chose the Birria Dinner and would certainly again, but there is a lot on the menu worth trying.
