Normally, I wouldn't review a restaurant I had never dined at before, but I think what they need to be called out for their poor planning. I made a reservation to this restaurant over a month in advance (November 4th), and today (November 22nd) they called me and unceremoniously canceled. Apparently someone booked a private event, so I guess they decided screw over anyone else who made a reservation for that date (December 12th). I get that they're going to make more money off of a private event, but I feel like those of us who did plan ahead and made reservations are being screwed over by THEIR poor planning. They didn't even offer to comp us a dessert or anything if we chose to come in again (which we won't, but may have had they handled this at all better).

Always a good choice for traditional French cuisine with their own added specials. Our group of five had a variety, including a cheese tray, beet salad, steak/frites, duck Magret and pasta. All were delicious and had lovely presentation. Our server was especially attentive and helpful.

My wife and I have been here several times, the last for one of their periodic live Gypsy Jazz nights. Food is delicious, the service attentive, and the French bistro atmosphere both casual and a bit classy. The two musicians playing violin and guitar that night, periodically strolling through the dining room, added a special touch. Can't recommend this place enough.

We dined at Bistronomic for their Tuesday Dover Sole special. It was delicious and done perfectly! Service is friendly! Modern and classy ambiance. Noise level was a bit loud but manageable. Going back soon.

I feel bad I haven't written a review earlier. I've been going to this restaurant for 6 or 7 years. And I must say, it is one of my most favorite. I go at least one to twice a week. I would rate this restaurant with 10 stars out of 5. The food is superior the staff is prompt and friendly and the atmosphere is always inviting. If you have anyone from out of town that loves French food and a fun atmosphere, bring them here. I guarantee you won't regret it.
Bistronomic is one of my favorite restaurants in the city of Chicago. Lulu, Chef and the entire team at this restaurant are above excellent. They each take time to greet you and provide outstanding service. The food and drinks are excellent. The ambience is perfect. I especially love when they have live music. The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. I would highly recommend it.

Great food. Top notch service. IMHO just a little pricey, but I guess to be expected based on the neighborhood. I would definitely go back. Warm and cozy atmosphere too.
