This place is amazing! Everything from the lovely atmosphere with outdoor patio and understated, unhurried, and expert service to the food and drink, all innovative and delicious, with everything made in-house (including the beer, bread and buns). We especially enjoyed the cucumber salad, the tofu bahn mi, the burger and the desserts. This place is altogether so charming and delicious. 5 stars+!!!

gochugaru fries were incredible. i’d also recommend the chicken curry and fried chicken sando!
drinks are great and i could barely taste the alcohol (just how i like it). minus 1 star because unfortunately the sushi took forever to get to our table, and looked unevenly cut and rushed overall. it was not appetizing at all. we ordered the mizu sushi

Great food, eat on the top floor with the sunlight or if it's nice out on the rooftop patio

Food was awesome! 1 star taken off the food because the coffee I ordered had a lot of grounds in it. I chalk that up to a service problem with quality control. The place is beautiful! I would go back again. I would go back and get the dim sum in a group of people. It was exceptional.

Delicious food and a great spot for a solo dinner or a group. I chose Bixi for a rare solo dinner as a treat and have NO regrets. This is my second time at Bixi and the food is SOO good. For this trip, I had the Bao of the week (Italian Beef Bao), the green beans, and the bruleed bananas. All of the food was incredible, but the bruleed bananas is one of my favorite desserts I've had in recent memory. I was dining solo at the bar and the service was incredible.

My food was inedible. The garlic scallion noodles was a bowl of cheese that after one noodle was too rich to enjoy, and no one at my 10 person table enjoyed them. Same with kimchi, it was ridiculously hot covered in pepper flakes. I love kimchi and this was gnarly. The place was good and drinks and service were fine.

Great spot for sharing in a group! Everything we had was amazing and full of flavor. We split the crab rangoons, burger, scallion garlic noodles, fried rice and chicken curry. Everything was tasty but the standout was the burger. Possibly one of the best in Chicago! The scallion garlic noodles also stood out, once mixed it lends itself more towards Mac n cheese on a wide flat noodle. In the best way! Portions are generous and the menu is large with a variety. Absolutely would return!

BiXi is an absolute standout in Chicago. If you like to share food with your friends, this is where you want to go. Our group of 6 got 2-3 plates off each section of the menu along with some sushi and it did not disappoint. The Crab Royale is the most leveled up Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. Drunken noodles were fantastic and so was every piece of sushi. The vibes are amazing and so was the service. I don’t think we waited more than 2-3 minutes to get our drinks and that alone put me in a good mood.
Bonus: They make all of their own noodles in house and brew their own beer.
5/5 across the board.

Visited BiXi Beer for a delicious dim sum brunch on a chill Saturday. Enjoyed the lemon shrimp toast (probably my favorite bite of the day), the pork and shrimp shumai with caviar, mizu roll (refreshing and herbal qualities with a little crunch), fatty tuna nigiri, and the cinnamon roll (took this to go, but omg this thing is amazing!!).
Excellent cocktails as well - we tried the Stars Aligned and Thai 75. Also had a couple Thai iced coffees. Amazing all around.
On top of it all, wonderful service (David is excellent) and cool atmosphere to boot.
Meant to take more pics but we devoured everything!
Highly recommended place to visit!

The Togarashi Burger will live on in my dreams forever. The drinks were amazing, food was incredible, vibes immaculate. Easily might be my new fave spot.
The burger here is one of the best in the city
We wanted our wedding to feel fun, relaxed, and centered around amazing food—and BiXi Beer was the perfect fit. The upstairs atrium gave us a beautiful indoor/outdoor space for our ceremony and the cocktail-style dinner we had for our 98 guests made it feel like a laid-back party with delicious food and amazing drinks at every turn.
Our guests loved the food—many went back for seconds, thirds, even fourths—and we’ve heard nothing but rave reviews since. The cocktails were fantastic (special shoutout to the last-minute espresso martinis!) and the house beer, of course, was a hit. We also loved that they offered late-night bite options.
We also loved that BiXi is a real restaurant—so that we and our guests can go back and relive the flavors anytime. And the location in Logan Square made it easy to keep the celebration going afterward at nearby spots like The Owl and Federales.
Big thanks to Jordan, the event coordinator, who made the whole planning process so easy and enjoyable. BiXi truly helped us create a night we’ll never forget and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue!
Second time stopping in at Bixi over the weekend and unfortunately the second time the service has not been great. May have just been an off night for our waiter, but he was pretty rude and inattentive. The food and drinks here are great, so it’s still worth checking out for yourself. The menu is a pretty wide range of bar snacks with Asian influences incorporated, and everything we ordered was delicious. If the service was better I’d be raving, will give them another shot and see if third time is the charm!
We were there for apps and drinks. Service and atmosphere are definitely better than the drinks and food.
