Black Sheep has that cool, slightly edgy neighborhood vibe that makes it feel effortlessly Chicago. The menu leans into bold comfort food — think juicy burgers, creative brunch plates, and dishes that don’t hold back on flavor. Everything feels hearty and satisfying without trying too hard to be fancy. The space is stylish but relaxed, making it great for both casual dinners and laid-back brunches. It’s the kind of spot you go to when you want solid food, good energy, and a place that feels a little different from the usual.

First time there and the bartender made me feel right at home didn't get a chance to try the food but the atmosphere there was very nice, would go back (plus the bartender was very pleasant to look at)

Food came out pretty slow, but really good! Definitely try the wings and house made chips & salsa. My friend raved about the burger, my mom really enjoyed the barbacoa tacos. Service was lovely and great neighborhood bar vibes.

Typically good. Probably shouldn't let staff wear the company shirts going out though. Different people outside the bar.

What great little bar!! While my daughter is at a Wedding in the area, I stopped in this near by bar to kill some time, watch the Cubs, & have some lunch. The bonus was the warm friendly people & Tamara the bartender was wonderful! Good food & lots of it! I enjoyed myself & would stop in again if in the area.

This place is good if you're in the neighborhood and you want to have a beer, the only thing I gotta complain about is that they don't have table service but other than that beers were nice and cold and the food was delicious.

Went for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! I was expecting a dark little dive bar, but it turned out to be so much more. The exposed brick gave it a great vibe, it was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming. The bartender was incredibly friendly, and the crowd was just as inviting. They offer a great selection of beers, seltzers, and even non-alcoholic options on tap. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking it out!

Black Sheep has become our go to with Chicago PEV. The owner is awesome, Amy the bartender is incredible, and the entire staff is super welcoming. Great food, great drinks, and the back patio is hands-down the best in the city.
