Good place for a quick bite

This place is Incredible.

It says on the door that they are open at 11 but they never open at 11. Was just told come back in 30 minutes at 1105. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Pricing is reasonable and sandwiches offer a good quantity. The mac and cheese and cornbread are great sides.

No chicken and the food was ok….Being Black I expected more.

The food was delicious. However the portions at the price point they are selling are horrible. I ordered the Brisket platter and a Burnt Ends and Sausage Combo platter. Paid extra for a side of corn bread and a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese container was just a tad larger than a cupcake tin. After a 5 dollar tip to the great staff, for a takeout order; my total for everything was $55. I'd have been ok w that if the portions of everything were better. I feel like I did not get a good value for my dollar.

I got the tacos, one brisket and one pork, and the side of elotes.
So good, debated licking the tray to get all that tasty juices.
This is the 2nd location of Blackwood bbq I’ve had; quality holds up across locations. Blackwood bbq has yet to disappoint, can’t wait to come back.

Great BBQ with a decent sample of various sauces to chose from. They even helped steer me away from the gluten choices.

The food was cold. I really want ribs but was told I had to order from the catering menu a day advance. The food had no favor. It was a waste of my money.

This was incredible barbecue. Loved the bark on the brisket!

So flavourful, tender, delicious!

Mister wanted more, Missus reminded that we still had pizza to get.

This restaurant is part of the war on cash, it’s card only.

Sandwiches were alright. Meat was very dry. Sauces sounded good. Wish they would have put a good amount on there.

Ordered the Brisket Platter with a side of Mac & Cheese, everything tasted great! Portions were a bit small for the price but I will definitely be back to try more!

Great vibe really nice atmosphere and the brisket tacos were 🔥. I also liked the brisket salad it was very good.

Only ordered a pulled pork sandwich. It was a little dry. Next time will try the sausage. Great service in any event.
