I’ve been here more than 10 times. It’s one of my favorite places to grab sushi and a cold tea. They are always so welcoming and the restaurant is always clean.

Great for a quick bite to eat. Use the kiosk to order yourself.
Fun concept, delicious sushi. Portions are small, just an fyi. The establishment is also tiny, and the layout is a little awkward. They have an impressive menu that includes drinks and dessert.

I only gave it 4 stars because I got 2 drinks with boba and no straws. However I will say that everything else was wonderful from the customer service to the food!! This is the 2nd time in less then a week I have ordered from here and I have no idea why I waited so long to try it out after first hearing about it! Thanks for well priced sushi and yummy drinks.

Update 02/08/26: Ordered again today, preparation and taste has gone down significantly from our first experience. Rice wet, pockets wet, tastes not balanced, sloppy presentation all around. Was looking forward to getting from here again. 🫤 Original post: We ordered online and picked up (short walk from Hop Butcher). It was good, have to consider convenience and price, would definitely order from them again.

My friends and I went here yesterday and it was such a delightful surprise! We got a few desert sushi balls I was pleasantly surprised by (the kiwi one was amaaaazing) and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There was an incredibly rude patron in the restaurant absolutely berating one of the workers and he extended her so much (too much) grace as my friends and I called her out for her poor behavior. All’s to say, great food and even greater staff deserving your patronage!!! Please support them!
Wow the quality of rice is amazing here. There is nothing more disappointing than getting sushi with bad rice. The fish was fresh. I tried a little bit of everything. Will go again.

Awesome and unique! I was hesitant to try this place because I’m loyal to my regular sushi joint but I was intrigued by the signage, name, and of course the inflatable lumberjack waving outside who looks straight out of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I walked in and was greeted by the two staff members working and they directed me to the ordering screen. Then all became clear. I was hesitant to try this place because the idea of $1 sushi sounded a little precarious but when you see the menu it all makes sense. Sushi balls with different toppings and the prices range from $1-$3 depending on what you order. I ordered salmon, eel, daikon radish, seaweed and a few others I can’t recall exactly but I am pleased to report they were all delicious!! And affordable. I think my order was about $12 + tip. There are fun goodies to look at while you wait and you may also choose to purchase sweet or savory snacks that are displayed on the wall. There are a couple small tables if you want to eat there but I took mine home in the cutest little half bag I’ve ever seen. Go check this place out it’s tasty and fun!

i didn’t have high expectations for this because of the $1 price point; you are getting what you pay for. a truffle sized ball of rice and a very small portion of seafood/topping of choice. I was kind of bummed out by the loads of sauce (spicy mayo/seasoning/etc - not sure because it didn’t list what it was) they put on every single sushi ball with no forewarning. the images displayed on the kiosk didn’t show them with THAT much sauce or listed that sauce toppings would be smothered all over each sushi ball either. the sauce/seasoning made it incredibly hard to even tell what i was eating and was extremely salty/sugary for me. they also didn’t give chopsticks and give you a wooden spork instead.. made it kind of hard to eat the balls and mini sandwich i ordered. it wasn’t horrible, but it is definitely low grade fast food sushi. I definitely would not come back / go out of my way to get sushi balls again.

Tried Bloop Bloop after it became trending on tiktok posts as $1 sushi balls and I'd say it's worth the hype.
I ended up getting a variety of sushi balls and the fish was usually thin with more rice than anything but hey you're getting a decent bite sized amount of food for the price so no complaints there. The sauce they used on some of the balls was good, it had a little tang and tasted yummy all together. The ones that stood out most for me and were well worth it was the takoyaki balls, I got 2 and man were they good and only $1?? Definitely recommend if you have an idea of what they are or have tried them before, they don't disappoint. Overall not bad 8/10 for a quick snack totally worth it!
