Over-priced tourist trap.
Latte was cold and tasted off.
Hot chocolate was neither hot or tasted much like chocolate! Tasted mostly watered down.
Chocolate croissant seemed old and was cold.
Service was ok.

Sipping on Blue Bottle lattes looking over the Chicago River is magical, but the place can get super packed.! But if you really wanna have some beans, the team was super diligent. The barista’s like Sara were popping out espresso shots one after the other…patiently…while serving hundreds of thirsty customers. Blue Bottle lattes + Chicago River = ☕️😋🌊❤️

The coffee here was mid especially considering the cost was so outrageous. $10 for a latte. The shop was insanely busy and loud. Save your money and get your coffee somewhere else.

I’ve had the worst experience ever at a blue bottle coffee location. And I’m a huge fan and patron who’s been to their locations from Tokyo to LA. This particular spots service was horrible and snobby. And they lacked many of the signature drinks that’s served elsewhere.

Wildly understaffed, and no place to sit because of how many people are waiting in line. Avoid unless you have 20minutes to wait for a coffee.

This location desperately needs more workers or some better training. Me and two guests arrived 45 minutes before another event, thinking we'd grab coffees on the way. Two workers were there, one working cashier and food, the other working drinks. We waited in line for 15 minutes, ordered, and waited til 5 minutes before the event (along with 10+ other people waiting for drinks) before we decided to leave. The person making drinks was working quite slowly, and stopped to talk to someone for a couple minutes too. Really frustrating experience all around, $35 wasted.

Short staffed so they will take very long to take your oder. They only have white sugar, no sweetener, no splenda. Just 1-2 tables so most likely you will end up drinking a hot coffee outside while sweating. An employee scolded me for taking a spoon. He told me to ask for it next time and wait for him to give it to me.

Very long wait for a very watery cappuccino and an Ok cold brew. Maybe the hype is overinflated.
Note that same brand has much better quality in Japan

It's a expensive coffee place without lactose free milk and sugar free oat milk.
Worst coffee I had in my entire life. Tasted horrible!
