Excellent service, food and lovely French songs playing softly. One of my favorite places for brunch and now dinner.
The food took a long time to arrive. The Sunrise BLT was fair: over cooked eggs, very small amount of bacon, marinated tomato had almost no taste, and the bread was so so. The sandwich was very dry and it arrived cold. Two things were good, the capuccino and the french fries. The place is nice but loud.
Blue Door Farm House has been on my list for a while and it DID NOT disappoint! The ambiance, table decor are just as lovely as the food! My only issue was what to order - everything looked delicious! Can't wait to go back!
It was our first visit and will not be out last. Thank goodness I thought to make a reservation and our preferred time of 6:30 was available as guests kept streaming in throughout the course of our meal and it was already a full, hi energy room when we arrived. We prefer starting with a well dressed simpler mixed greens + salad veggies salad but it was not offered so we shared the Cobb salad. A generous amount of large cubes of chicken and blue cheese crumbles, pickled peppers, with sliced egg (we asked for no bacon) over a mix of romaine and arugula with their delicious vinaigrette. We were both in a burger mood, so my partner had the cheeseburger with fries, I had the veggie burger that came with a small side salad of mixed greens. Never too many greens for me. I know veggie burgers, and the ingredients in this veggie burger were outstanding, to offer both protein and keep the burger moist. Our lovely server and her colleagues bringing the dishes and clearing the table were 5-star. Looking around, everyone was engaged in conversation, laughing, having fun, all of which added to the ambience.
Great good, good service. Had a very nice dinner, cheese curds are a must!! Would definitely go back.
I actually don't know about the food or the service because we checked the menu online and it was nothing like the menu that was actually available so we left. Don't bother looking at the menu online.
Unfortunately this was not the best experience . Orders came out incorrect , service was a bit lack luster and server kept going over to the entrance are to chat with her friends several times . All 3 of our meals came out incorrect . I was baffled and no apologies or anything , nothing comped ..
Daughter flew in from NY so went downtown Chicago to have lunch and went here, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Great seating and service… lame menu
I entered and initially had a great first impression. I got seated quickly and was immediately assisted by my server. After taking a scan of the menu I decided to leave without ordering. My advice is to take a look at the menu in advance, if you’re liking to options, it’s worth the visit!

The food was absolutely bland. I ordered the bell pepper Benedict and it had no seasoning. I drowned it in hot sauce as an attempt to make it edible but it was still so bland. The dish also smelled fishy as if it was not washed/rinsed properly. My friend ordered the breakfast wrap and it was also soooo bland. The best part was the bacon and side of fries.
If you want to just go for the aesthetics, then sure but I would never go again for the food.

Great service. Seemed like it was bring your crying baby to restaurant night. My spaghetti and meatballs tasted like Mac and cheese with overcooked Meat nuggets. My two friends were also underwhelmed by their entrees. Have had good brunch experience here. Dinner, one and done.
Good food great service Restaurant very pretty inside but very warn no fans or a/c and very loud
Amazing food and service. Loved the ambiance but way too warm upstairs! I was very hot while dining
The staff seemed overworked and so, the service was slow. The food is always great though.
