I’ve just looked through my history ordering at Bluebird the last few months on doordash alone, and somehow…I’ve ordered 14 times. I’ve been more in person. I first went to Bluebird about 4 years ago now, the week I moved to Chicago. I moved at 2am in the pouring rain in September that year, and I saw Bluebird right down the road. I’m currently eating the Smoked Gouda Burger with a fried egg add on….absolutely stellar. One of the best burgers I’ve had in the Chicago area. Ordered the duck fat fries which are also fantastic. The flavors are just awesome and I felt compelled to wrote this while still eating it all. That’s how good it is!
Food was good and came out quickly. They had a high chair for kids but no kid menu which was a slight bummer. They have physical menus but you can also scan the bar code at your table to order and pay. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for something quick, local, and that isn’t a chain restaurant.
