Ordered 10 oz steak medium and it was dry/overcooked and looked liked it was 6-7 oz at best. It was very expensive ($70) and didn't come with any sides. They sat us upstairs at first, and I didn't like the room vibe (very quiet) so they moved us downstairs, but it wasn't much better. Maybe if they had someone playing music (guitarist) it would've made the evening more enjoyable.

Our reservation was canceled by the host who was a little rude and dismissive and was told phones was turned off so that was disappointing because we had a specific table we wanted and booked for and tried calling numerous times but once seated, Service was amazing, our server name was Grace she did amazing, knowledgeable and helpful. We also met another server name Julian he was amazing he was so kind and helped us get the table we desired, very kind and understanding. Grateful and appreciate the kindness they both expressed to my husband and I. Food was great and not a long wait time.

Let me start by saying that we eat at restaurants all over the world from food truck to Michelin star quality and I've never wanted to leave a bad review until today. The ambiance is beautiful here, but, you will only get to see it if you are seated in the chandelier room. We were forced upstairs for my birthday dinner lol where we were seated so close to the next table that our elbows were touching strangers while we ate. The steaks were good quality and just absolutely not cooked to the right temperature, a medium rare steak should never be brown mid center and charred... also, they had zero seasoning or flavor. The most bland cut of meat that we've ever tried. We only drink bottled water and of course pay more for it and the waiter came by and filled our glasses that were half full with bottled water, with tap water. Then when he brought our sides he took used dirty utensils that were sitting bare on the table that had not been cleared and stuck them into our sides. The mashed potatoes tasted as if they were from a box and the Mac and cheese had hard uncooked noodles inside. Our bill for two people with zero alcohol was 380.00 including the 20 percent service fee that they add on. I used the ladies room on the way out and it is absolutely beautiful, so people use it as a photo opp and sadly I needed to use the restroom and since women had brought their husbands to join them IN THE WOMENS BATHROOM, for photos- I was unable to use the restroom. Overall, we had a horrible experience and I consider my birthday ruined. We were not offered any sort of resolution from the restaurant, just a smug response from the waiter when he asked how everything was and we told him the truth. Also, we spoke to multiple couples outside at the valet stand while waiting for our cars and everyone was saying the food was awful. I absolutely would never recommend this place unless you go for a photo on the staircase or in the restroom. Worst dinner experience in Chicago in my life!

El lugar está muy bonito (salón de los candiles), de los mas bonitos de Chicago, pero la comida deja mucho que desear.. los precios no son tan excedidos, pero la calidad de la comida no es tan buena..

Blvd was an amazing experience. Juliana was our server she was full of energy and very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the farm salad and steak frites! 10/10!

We were a party of 5 for a birthday dinner at 7:30 pm on a Thursday night. Sit inside (chandelier room). Not too crowded compared to outside dining area. Food was excellent and our server (Jen) was very attentive, as were the bussers. Half off high end wine on Thursday was a nice surprise. Decanted and served beautifully. We had oysters, tuna crudo, tomato and mozzarella for starters. We split two large steaks and added the butter poached lobster tail to both. The sides were also great as well as deserts. Would definitely return for another dinner.

We recently visited and dined on the patio bar area, hoping for a relaxing night out. The space itself was pleasant enough, but unfortunately everything else about the evening was a complete letdown. The food was honestly some of the worst we've had in a long time. The crab cake lacked flavor and texture, the steak was disappointing and far from enjoyable, the Brussels sprouts were unpleasant, and even the drink fell flat. For the price and atmosphere, we expected at least decent quality, but sadly it was the opposite. The service only added to the frustration. The blonde male bartender was inattentive, dismissive, and gave off an energy that made the experience even more uncomfortable. The only bright spot was the red-haired bartender—she was kind, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about the guests, which we truly appreciated. We wanted to like this place, but after such a poor showing across the board, I can't in good faith recommend it. With so many other great spots in the city, this one just isn't worth the time or money.

I had dinner at this restaurant recently. The food was an 8 out of 10—but the service left much to be desired. I suspect this is partly because a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the check, which may reduce the staff's incentive to provide attentive service.

Excellent food and vibes, we celebrated my girlfriends birthday and they really went above and beyond for us

A true Chicago experience, sitting on a gorgeous patio with the sounds of the El train and pickleball courts mixing with the music. We had bruch, started with the very fresh and clean oysters and the Mimosa kit. Great combo to start the meal. Our server Rob was on point with recommendations for the Italian omelet and breakfast potatoes. The ricotta toast was huge and unique. It was a quiet day at the restaurant, that made us feel like VIPs.

If you sit outside be prepared for the train going by every few minutes and you can't hear anything while that is happening. Also all the spiders cruising by with their music blasting.
