Worst food and Chef I've ever worked for in Chicago! I promise you behind the scenes would make you spend your money else where.
Great drinks, yummy food - but service by Enrico was by far the best!!!!!! Thank you for such a great evening!!
I came here for Valentine's Day and i was completely blown away. The restaurant is GORGEOUS. We had the steak, which was probably the best steak I've ever had at any restaurant I've ever been to. To die for! I look for for every excuse i can to come here
If you want to celebrate your birthday it's better to do not go to this place, steak was horrible, $40 do 3 scallops
This place has changed in the last 3 years. It's not as good as I remembered. It seems like everything I had was burned or over cooked ( short ribs , gluten free bread and greens. The lamb chops were a bit salty. The giblet drink was the best.
Good holiday dinner spot
Had an absolutely amazing time at BLVD! Food was fantastic and the service was even better. Our Sommelier came over to talk to us about the wine and we explained we were out celebrating after a tough year of postponing our wedding and just COVID in general and he brought us a glass of port to celebrate with us. He took so much time to get to know us, create a personal experience, and tell us how happy they were to be able to open their doors again to their customers. Definitely would recommend to anyone to try it out!
Outstanding restaurant, nothing bad about this place, very beautiful, with all the chandeliers . The food is excellent, I had rainbow trout, best I ever had. My girlfriend had the salon spectacular, I could eat here everyday, waiter was really great. The martinis the best very tasty. Definitely going on a Tuesday for the dollar oysters. Everyone should r
BLVD is a gorgeous restaurant. Perfect for special occasion dining, but easily a great spot for dinner without a celebration.Dark and sultry, with chandeliers and round booths to tuck away into creates that private, sexy vibe. Tons of muted silver gives off that old Hollywood, Art Deco feel. It just feels swanky and cool. Our server was nice but not over the top in gracious service. She did a great job but I wasn't wowed by the service. I chatted with the Manager as she stopped by diners' tables and she was fantastic. She made a personal connection which was a great touch. Our food was incredible. We ordered scallops, burgers and several sides and everything was perfection. The desserts completed a fabulous meal that left me looking forward to my next visit.
Pure luxury ! Incredible food and incredible location. The luxurious ambience makes you feel like star. One of the best restaurants I‘ve ever been to.
BLVD for the win. Door dash for the loss. I pre-ordered a Mother's Day short rib dinner on the Saturday before Mother's Day. I was to have it delivered by door dash at 5 on Sunday. Around 3, I get a notification that my order was cancelled by the restaurant. I immediately called and emailed the restaurant because I didn't cancel anything! After scrambling to find another place to deliver food during the pandemic (a particular challenge on Mother's Day) I saw an email from the manager at BLVD, Beth. We will call her the life saver from here on out. The life saver said they didn't cancel the order, she saw a notification and she was so sorry for the confusion. The life saver said she had my order and I could pick up whenever. Now, anyone in the customer service biz needs to take notes. She comped my order. I didn't ask for that at all, she just took care of us. I went to pick up, and came home to cook. It was amazing and she through in a $50 gift card for a future dinner. We had short ribs, a salad, cremed potato's and a chocolate cake that I have yet to try. It was incredible. this is how you take care of people and they have a customer for life. Thanks BLVD and a special shout out to Beth, the life saver.
Come here with clients sometimes, good atmosphere for that. Never been disappointed by the food but the service can be a little slow sometimes. Besides that, it's a wonderful place to come. If you love duck confit you must try it here.
During these unprecedented times with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic I have been reduced to ordering delivery twice a day. On April 3rd I decided to give BLVD a try, as I have been a quest to try new restaurants due to being stuck indoors. As a seafood lover, I decided to order the King Salmon in addition to a Baby Greens Salad, Bread & Butter, and a side of Mixed Mushrooms. Upon receiving the food through DoorDash, the food was packaged excellently and was still piping hot. To my surprise, with my food was a letter thanking me for my support through these difficult times and with it a gift card for use when they reopen to dine in. This gesture alone made BLVD stand out from all of the other restaurants I've ever ordered from. The food was some of the best I've ever had and definitely the best carry out I've ever had. The flavors of the golden tomato beurre blanc paired amazingly with the flavors of the salmon making every bite very enjoyable. The Baby Greens salad contained the sweet flavor of candied pecans, with the tart flavor of citrus, and creamy flavor of goat cheese making it exceptionally good. Due to the amazing experience and outstanding food I felt compelled to leave a review. I will definitely be ordering from BLVD many more times to come, and I can't wait to try dine in as well upon reopening. Try this place if you haven't already!!!
I love heading into a restaurant expecting a good meal and leaving after a great one! Our waiter was fantastic and did an excellent job presenting the menu and answering our questions. The food was wonderful and the environment was so romantic. We were lucky enough that there was an acoustic performer who softly sang all of our favorite songs, and sang them better than the originals!
Good old-style restaurant with great service and selection of wine.
