There's definitely a race issue at this bar. They don't welcome the 'darker shades'. Called in advance to inquire about the patio and hours, then showed up 15 minutes later to be told the entire bar was closed for a private party. They couldn't say that on the phone? Someone booked out the entire bar in 15 minutes?? It sounded made up, and based on the other 1 star reviews, I see it was.

Only one Time I stopped to have a drink with my friends after a long day at the Chicago Nascar Race event. As we arrived to the Bar the bartender she had such unwelcome approach towards us. But the most moment another group of white Americans customers she treated them better so my friends and I felt so discriminated by her. I will not come here nor recommend it.

went there last nite a bucket of beer cwas 14,50 if you split it it is 17 28 dollarts for 5 cans of beer to go opn roof top prices to high for area

Super Rude woman bartending. Obviously she has an issue with Latin customers, she ignored us and took for ever to serve us a drink, while we were out in the back patio she just closed everything while we were there with out saying a word. I guess my dollars worth less for her .

A Garfield Ridge staple with a new addition. A rooftop bar with ample seating and nice views. You can bring in your own food, but they do offer some options (frozen pizzas and pretzels.) The establish could benefit from additional bathroom(s) to accommodate large crowds.

We had a Sunday afternoon bday party here and Toni and Stephanie did an excellent job!
Nice spot for a cold beer. Tequila selection a bit weak. Shot cost 7$. Beers were very cold. The roof deck in the day time is an oven with the sun glaring. Careful if you pay for a song using phone app bar has 2 areas on app. You won't hear songs. Overall good pre party spot.

My husband and I were just at Bobby G’s (Saturday night ), and we feel like we were being kinder to our bartender than our bartender was to us . Blonde bartender needs to learn customer service skills . Next time, I will go to Ash or the other bar across the street from Bobby G.
