Had their brunch today and felt transported to Spain. I mean having a James Beard semi finalist cook for you is bomb but their bocadillos and lattes are out of this world. Can’t miss their famous Almond Pie or their eggplant croquettes. It was all too delicious for words and great vibe and service too! @chicagopescetarian

Terrific spot. Coffee, wine, sandwiches, baked goods… seasonal items add to the joy. I could likely come many times and have very different (excellent) experiences.
Great spot, better food and BYOB!!

This place is a gem in West Town. The food was excellent, very high quality ingredients, and friendly service. Highly recommend the Tarta Santiago, Pan con Tomate, and Tortilla.

Wow. I’m not one to even give reviews but this place is a grand slam! The service is fast, friendly, informative and kind. Then the food hits and it’s amazing. Every. Single. Thing. is out of this world great. Not to be left behind, their drinks are stellar too! We had a saffron & pumpkin and mint & basil lattes.
Do yourself a favor and get over here!

Super friendly service! Had coffee and a snack. Excellent!
I think the smoked lamb bocadillo is my new favorite sandwich in the city and more people need to be talking about this place.
The smoked lamb is tender, rich and saucy, and the sandwich has a perfect mix of herby (cilantro), acid (pickled green beans), and crunch (carrots). The sauce soaks into the bread but it still retains a really nice crunch. It’s absolutely worth the price, especially considering it came with patatas bravas (which itself was the best version of the dish I’ve ever had). I also had a slice of their pumpkin almond cake, which was also excellent
Chef James was working the counter, and he introduced himself to everyone who walked in and was eager to strike up a conversation. He couldn’t have been nicer, and is definitely part of the reason I’ll be back real soon- hopefully for one of their upcoming dinners

We loved it here. For starters the owner couldn’t be nicer. He puts in the effort to make your experience a pleasant one. The food was great. I don’t think you can go wrong with any item on the menu. Corn Lavender latte was great, and my boyfriend enjoyed his latte too. We highly recommend it here!!

I have ordered lunch and dinner from
Bocadillo Market and both have been exceptional. Lattes, sandwiches, and paella were the highlights for me. The staff, especially Chef James, are extremely skilled and courteous.

Went here on a date night with my husband and had a wonderful time! The food was to die for. We tried almost everything on the menu and each dish just kept getting better and better. Chef James is outstanding. Service was top tier and they really make you feel like family.

Sandwich was delicious. Service was slow. Please don't pack a saucy sandwich in a bag meant to carry a bottle of wine. Everything was sliding to the bottom when you handed it to me.
