This was one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. We loved everything from the appetizers to the drinks to the entrees. Each dish was unique and had a lovely twist on traditional Mexican dishes. The food was classy and the portions were generous. Our waitress was attentive and wonderful to talk to!

The service today was great, and sitting at the bar was enjoyable. The atmosphere was okay, though I’d recommend adding more Latin tunes instead of house music to match the theme better. The space was very clean, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations. The mole enchiladas had a rancid aftertaste, which was not pleasant. On top of that, the pricing felt high—$24 for three enchiladas without sides seems steep, even for downtown. Something closer to $18 would feel more fair.
Also, the chips and salsa at $8 feels like a holdover from COVID pricing—at this point, it doesn’t reflect good value.
Overall, great service and clean space, but the food and pricing need some adjustment to match expectations.

We hosted an engagement celebration (Anna, bride's mom to be) and myself (groom's mom to be) last night at Bocaditos Chicago. The owner Jose and staff Laxandro, the bartenders, and support staff were outstanding! The atmosphere is beautiful and fun! The drinks were perfect (specialty cocktails, margaritas, old fashioned, etc. were amazing! The appetizers served buffet style were delicious with flautas and quesadillas being two of our favorites! We would highly recommend Bocaditos for an event, o dinner, or drinks and appetizers because you would be so pleased with everything. Also, everything that was discussed before the event was done along with some extra special touches. Our son picked out some specialty cocktails, and they had a special menu prepared for that. Jose went above and beyond to have all of our wishes met. We will definitely be returning customers!

We had a table of 8 for dinner last night. I will start off by saying the food was really good, but too bad the service was just absolutely terrible! Our waitress took a while to greet us even there were only a few tables and we had a reservation. Upon ordering drinks I had asked if she had a certain fountain drink she said yes and comes back with a completely different drink. One of the people in our table requested a beer and the waitress came back saying they didn’t have it so we asked what other light beers were carried she said she would come back and find out, and we waited and saw the waitress was busy chit chatting with another coworker rather than following up with our table. We had to go ask the bartender ourselves. We were there celebrating a birthday. Half of our table stepped away to use the bathroom when our waitress came with the dessert and candle when the birthday person was in the bathroom. We told her whose birthday it was. It was just a super awkward encounter because she came to the table with the dessert and our birthday person was still in the bathroom and she had to rush back before the candle went out. It would have honestly been a 5/5 experience had it not been for our waitress providing terrible service.

First time eating here; I went to celebrate my friend’s birthday and definitely worth it!! damn the food!!!!! Everything was delicious with amazing flavor and the drinks were really good, not water down. The service was wonderful and very friendly! I’m definitely coming back here!!

The vibe at Bocaditos Chicago is amazing!! beautifully decorated inside and they even have a patio, which is a nice bonus. The service was excellent and super thoughtful. We were celebrating a birthday and they surprised us with shots, drinks, and even a little cake, which was such a sweet touch! 🎉
Food-wise, everything we tried was delicious. We started with the chips and salsa (had a nice spicy kick!) and the queso fundido, both of which were amazing. I ordered the veggie enchiladas with green sauce, and they were so flavorful and filling — easily one of my favorites. The rice and beans on the side were also really good. My friend got the steak tacos and really enjoyed them too.
Drinks were great, food was fresh, and overall the experience was fantastic. Prices are about what you’d expect for the city, but worth it for the quality and atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for a night out or another celebration!

I was not crazy about this place the only real good thing was the homemade nacho chips and fancy drinks they served. Rice was very disappointing almost like eating Uncle Ben's rice cooked right out of the box. Had to return our steaks because they were ordered as medium well and came back well over cooked. I will say our server was kind and sweet because he did put in our order as placed, and it came out over cooked the manager did only charge us for half our bill. That did please me and left my disappointment to disappear. In my opinion and just go there for happy hour they have drinks between 5-10 and happy prices off appetizers. That way you can taste and have your own experience to try something different on the menu.
